Anyone familiar with PlatinumLounge (dot) com? I used to be very active with this site about more than a year ago. Now that I have gained back some of my time for myself (i.e., internet-ing) I tried to visit those sites that used to pay me well. This one was one of the greatest payers. I was so saddened though to find out that it was no longer functioning. At first, out came a some sort of dating site. But eventually, nothing did come up. I tried to review my email account for mails from that site just so to make sure I hadn't typed the wrong address. True, enough I wasn't mistaken and no PlatinumLounge came out. Anyone knew how this site went down?

I have heard of that website but I haven't joined. I'm sorry to hear that it's no longer functioning though. I sort of had a similar thing with ToneADay. It was my biggest earner, but now that they have completely changed their system, I'm not always able to earn there...
I'm sorry I can't give you more information about this site though!

PlatinumLounge was a slow earning site without long term sustainability road-map. Thats why it was closed. I have received just one payment.

@MAC. sorry to hear that as well. PlatinumLounge was a great site for me as I am from the Philippines and it is rare for us from this part of the world to earn online that quick and that much. Well, for me anyway. I'm not so knowledgeable about the tricks on the net so I'm mostly just into posting and posting hehe

@MONEYBLOGS, i think the site have paid me about 4 times before I got inactive on the net. I couldn't imagine how it could be a slow-earning site as there were so many active members there. But at the same time with the money that I was receiving then I wondered how they could be able to sustain that with their population. I wasn't getting much but I knew there were many others getting more than I am. Well, it had to happen I guess

I see from your other topic that you have been away for a while. YOu probably do not know that we can now use the search here and receive random rewards (which boost our earnings)

I used it to search the discussions concerning Platinum Lounge and this is what it came up with:

I remember at some point last year that was the only thing that every topic was talking about.
More proof for you that myLot is unique

Hey, thanks! This is new and very helpful info for me. I'm still exploring the new mylot. New for me, anyway :D I've checked the first link you posted as it's much shorter. I'll be checking the second one later. Thanks so much! And yes, mylot is unique.

I believe they were no longer able to pay their members and it was as simple as that, it got closed down. This happened I'd say maybe 8 months ago or so. Sorry to hear that it was one of your favorite and best earners. I hardly used the site myself.

Oh... that is so bad. I did wonder how they'ds come up with that much money and pay their members that much... Oh well, some good things never last, they say. Payout was real quick and in double digits in just a few days if you're lucky. Tsk, tsk... Thanks for the info, though.
