This just happened to me. I went outside to tell someone goodbye. After they drove off, I went back to my door to find it locked. Since I didn't have my key with me, I was locked outside.
Fortunately, my bedroom window was opened and was able to get the screen off and get back in.
Has this happened to you? Were you able to get back in on your own? Or did you have to have help?

Well yes one time and after this I was very careful not to do it again.
I wasnt able to get back in the house for hours and had to wait out
in the cold snow until my neighbor let me stay at her house for a few hours
until my mom came home.so yes i had help.

Yes i have done this before and i know so many other people who have at some stage. One of my friends got a taxi back to her house after a big night out and was locked out of her house, after waiting forever for her to comeback to the car the taxi driver drove off and must have thought it was a run off when she was drunk and crying to the phone to her house mate because she wasn't home either and she couldn't get in. LOL

LOL at me yes, one time I did. I was going to pick up my car a the autoshop so I had to go on the bus, public transportation. So I forgot I took the house key of the key chain and left it on the table.
So upon going outside I realized, yikes I was locked out. So I continued to pick up my car with the hopes when I got back that my boyfriend would be home and he was not so I had to call him and since we do not have access through a window, I had to sit out in my car for like an hour before he made it home. I wanted to drive by him but he thought wise for me to wait.
I ended up napping in my truck. I felt so helpless and hopefully it does not happen again. LOL, but now that I look back it is funny.

Oh yes I did back in college! I left my house keys at home and when I returned from school I need to climb the gate like a burglar. Unfortunately, I was alone that time and there is no other choice but to destroy the lock. It was quite a feat that got me really perspiring. From then on, I always check my keys before I leave the house.

I remember when I was at Secondary School and had come back and my Mum was out and I had not taken my key as that day.
