What is the most profitable niche to focus on when blogging for money?

I am planning on creating a new blog solely for making money purposes wherein I hope to register it for Google Adsense, such that I can earn passive income. There are a few niches that I am already contemplating based on my personal interest and hobbies. But at the same time, I am worried that these niches won't be as profitable. So, I would like to seek recommendation on how can I choose the most profitable niche for setting up a blog. What free tools can I use to determine the most in demand keywords that I can use to optimize my blog? I would appreciate any insights.

You should choose something that your interested in and know a lot about and something that you can update daily or weekly.

Yeah.. which is why I was contemplating on starting a blog based on my hobby so I can write with more confidence some useful tips to share. Also, I think I will be more motivated to write content if I like what I am writing about.

OMG. You can't put a link on the discussions. You have to tell them to go to your profile. Sports does sound good. Hadn't thought of that. I am trying to come up with something also.

Yeah, I figured too that it would violate the rules to post a link. But anyway, I am glad too that you think the same. I think sports is a universal language, aside from music. Everyone seems to love it wherever you maybe from, so I think I will focus on doing something for this niche.
