If you have ever seen the movie Ground Hog Day it's about a man reliving the same day over and over. If you could pick one date, or one event to relive over and over what would it be. A holiday or birth or special celebration, what day could you stand to live over and over?

I have not seen the movie Ground Hog Day but if there's a day I would like to relive over and over again, it was an ordinary day when I was keeping my ailing grandmother company. She was so sick and has no appetite. She was so weak and could't even walk. But then I came in to her bedroom with a rose flower and some soft mamon (bread), and she smiled and thanked me. I stayed with her till she fell asleep, and then I went out to go to school.

My grandma was a very special person. She endured so many difficulties in life and yet she showed us what loving meant. I am forever indebted to my dearest grandma...

You must be a very kind and giving and kind person that you'd give the whole day to your sick grandma just for that special moment. To relive that again and again. That is very sweet to hear. I am sure it's a moment you will cherish forever.

My wedding, but not the days leading up to it, I'd have a heart attack.

Lol yea not the stress but all the magic it leads up to. How about the honeymoon, I think that's what I will want to relive. Or the day I knew I was in love with him.

I was saying if you had to relive one day over and over. Like of no choice of your own it just kept happening when you woke up. Then what day would it be?

I want to go back to that day to be with my Grandfather! I want to spend a whole day with him and cherish that moment! I miss him so much! I'm so sad that we were apart for 5 years and it was so wasted!
I just want to spend that whole day with him!

That's a nice memory. Time wasted does make us realize in the end that we can't get it back.

This is such an amazing discussion. If i could re-live a moment of my life that would indeed be the day i got married. My marriage was like such a big rush, i would go back and slow it down and not worry way too much. I would ensure that i would do all the things that i missed out at my wedding. I will try to make it one sensational wedding. LOL

Most people say that ends up being such a stressful time that they barely get to enjoy it. It should be special and doing it over and over again might not make it so special I guess. But maybe you could appreciate the things you missed more..and be able to not be so rushed.

If I had to re-live one day over and over again.. I would probably chose the day that I was with a best friend of mine. We were laying on her trampoline looking at the sky just talking about life, and pretty much whatever came to our minds. It was the only day that I ever felt at peace. We still have a friendship between us but it's not the same as it was back in the day. I would give anything to re-live that moment.

Yep I remember those kind of moments. Days of youth are probably a memory a lot of people would like to relive, and peace also. I don't get many of those anymore now that I am grown and have so many responsibilities.
