Microsoft launched Internet Explorer 6 countdown timer to spred this world not to use IE6 to cut the seperate work hours for the web developers
Internet Explorer 6 was launched on august 21st ,2001.Now it is 10 years. We all know the problems of IE6 it wont support HTML5,CSS3 and the developers need to code extra line for IE6
So the microsoft itself decided not to use IE6 and stopped support for IE6 after so many seminars on IE6
According to microsoft now ony 12% are using IE6 which 9% less compared to last year february.By this we can estimate that we can completely kill IE6 with in 2 years

I have never been a fan of IE, and I used Netscape since 1.0 -- it was in 1994 -- and then FireFox and other members of the Gecko family. IE6 was the worst browser ever made by Microsoft and is responsible of the success of FireFox. Even if the last versions of IE are better, many persons, remembering IE6, do not want to surf with IE today. I am surprised to learn that there is still 12% of IE6 persons surfing with IE6. Except maybe if these IE6 browsers are only user agents : I use an IE6 agent with Pocket IE on my WM phone to get non mobile versions of some websites, and since a year I am warned that my browser becomes obsolete. I believe I have to upgrade the agent.

I think it would be fool to use IE 6 now a days, as compared we have fast and more secure browsers avialable then why to go for the old geek?
try chrome 11 it is really faster and firefox 4.0 has good interface but it is slow as compared to chrome 11.
I haven't used IE9 till and don't like it to use as IE make my computer browsing very slow I had IE8 in my laptop.
