Why is Men's clothing so much cheaper than Women's clothing?

I've never noticed any price difference. I think it just depends on where you buy. Clothes are just expensive, especially full-price. This is probably why I shop thrift stores, consignment shops, and anything else second-hand. I get more for my money, anyway!

There are certain types of women clothing I find to be way more expensive, like dresses and shoes sometimes. But it seems to me that the men do not have the sales that the women generally find. I have seen a great many items for women way cheaper then a man.

Firstly I think it depends where you live as to the costs of clothing. Here I think clothing is pretty equal between the genders. The more professional the clothing is the more expensive it is or brand name. If you watch the clearance racks you can find deals for both genders. It depends on the style you want and how much you are willing to pay. Plus you always pay more if you shop in a mall vs a free standing store.

Hi, I don't think men clothes are always cheaper than women clothes. It is depend on the brand and also the design. Some branded tops for man can cost a bomb too because of its unique design. Of course, woman clothes have more varieties and for those branded clothes,it can cost very expensive. For me, I never aim for those branded clothes, for me, as long as the material is comfortable and the cutting suit me,then i will buy it.

I just had to stop you there but you are wrong. It is the other way around. Womans clothing is usually cheaper. And much cheaper too. That is why you always see that women need a larger closet than men becausse they can affor much more. I dont know where exactly you are shopping but so far everywhere that i have went in this world has men clothing much more expensive. In my country jamaica 1 us dollars = 84 jamaican dollars. When i go into stores the cheapest i will see a man pants for is about 1300 jamaican dollars. As for the ladies, the cheapest i have seen their pants for is about $600. I really dont what exactly you are comparing to think that women clothings are more expensive. Even for shirt, the cheapest shirt for a male would be 500 jamaican dollars. As for female it would be about 200 jamaican dollars. And that is why girls enjoy shopping so much as their clothing are sold for dirt cheap. And the think about it is that it looks as good as the male clothing.

I shop a lot and I never really noticed that. But now that you mention it womens clothes in general do costs more. I think its because women are more into buying clothes then men are so for the womens clothes costs more.
