I went to another city to have a interview this moring. It was really a little hard to find the location of this company, so it took me almost three hours to get there. The interviewer is a Russian, but his english is very good. On their recuitment notice, they said there are about 100 workers there, but when i got there i only saw two people, we talked about almost one hour, i have to say that he is really very friendly, at the last minute, he asked me about the salary i expected, i said 4500RMB, he thought it was too high. Don't think this company is a bit like cheater?

It is hard to say, just based on this, but it could be that not everyone in the company works from the same place, like someone already mentioned. Maybe some workers work from a different office, and others from Russia or other countries or something?

i don't think so, if it's very easy from them to have workers, who did they ask me to have an interview? their salary scope is 3000 to 4500, he told if i was planning to work here, my responsibility inciuded: office management, workers recuitment and translator. you can see the workload, and related it to the salary

i don't know anything about the company, but you should trust your instincts if you think there is something wrong.

well maybe the place where you were interviewed is not where most of their employees work. usually some companies i knew have operations in cheaper rent places... my take on you giving your expected salary and they saying that its too much.. im sure when you sent your resume it must have said it somehow there that you are expecting that much? or they completely have no idea? i have not encountered an interviewer telling me that im asking too much.. but they always just tell me that if the salary i was asking is negotiable.. be careful next time though, there are small companies who may not be aroung for long... good luck in youur job hunt!

be cautious always , no matter what he looks like , it's have great chance be a scam , the only way for you to make sure , confirm the company through legal institution and to see if they are really register in oversea investment bureau (i don't know the exactly apellation). tell everyone you knew before you make the final decision , listen to their opinion . be careful

these days we should be very careful to find good company since there's so many crimes or cheat by some companies or person. if I got that kind of question I would give him the amount and the reason. I used to give some reasons like that amount is based on the regional minimum salary ( it is applied in my country ), the risk, and responsibility.
