Being hacked was my nightmare, cause I ever felt that before.
I lost my account who already have more then 4950 friends and 4 group with thousands of members.
You also have to be carefully on approved any applications, cause this is the other ways to hacked your account.

Yes first we must be carefull about our personal information.Never accept a friend request from people you don't even know. There are so many fake profiles and their aim is only to steal you private information.

Hi gerrysetiawan,
Thanks for the information but really you shouldnt keep any kind of data on the facebook or any social networking site. Yes even if we dont change our log in email we should change our password of not only facebook or other networking sites like myspace or hi5 but also internet banking, share trading and other emails too. This would give us more security and less chances of hacker attack. Also we should be careful of Phising.

This is what I keep explaining to my acquaintances and until it happens to them they won't listen. Many of them have been affected already and basically what is happening is that once a person opens a private message on facebook that contains this virus it key logs their strokes.
So they immediately gain access to the facebook account and then an email to all contacts goes out and it is a vicious cycle. The email usually has something to draw attention like see me in this video so naturally all on the listed pm will open it.
I luckily have a really great virus protector that instantly stopped this once from happening to me. But I can't begin to tell you how many of my 329 friends and family members still fall for it.
It immediately gains all id's and passwords and the only way around it is to immediately change all id and passwords and reformat the pc or bring back to an earlier date.

thanks for the warning my friend.
giving your full identity on a social network makes you more prone to hackers and also those people who have an evil mind. Be careful also on adding friends, just add who really your friends are because some uses this method to target there prey. Also when your logging in to a public computer be sure to log it out and clear the cache of the computer before leaving to delete your information stored on a public computer. Downloading unnecessary applications is also one method which hackers uses. Just download what you need and do it in a safe site to avoid hackers attacking you.
have a nice day

yes...it's very true, sometimes people do download a file that is not in need, then we should tell him..so that no one is exposed to trap hackers...
