People work hard to enjoy a comfortable and happy life. They spend years striving to get an education with hopes of starting perfect career that will bring prestige, power, and money into their lives. In the business world, many people spend hours at times go out of their way, to get ahead in their professions. Time is sacrificed and effort are made to achieve the much-desired state of success. Many ties this "success" is measured through the amount of money makes him truly happy. While it is good to work hard to earn money, this must be done in accordance with God's teaching. moreover, if a person wants to keep the riches that God has blessed him with, he cannot avoid following the teachings of the Creator. We dream of having prosperity and long life, Ironically, in the struggle to be prosperous, some of us overwork ourselves, become sick, and die early. The Lord God, however, offers a solution. Obey Him and He will grant us both long life and prosperity, in addition to obedience, god commands us to be humble and have fear in Him. If we possess these qualities, the Lord promises us wealth, honor, and prosperity in this life.

I believe when we are born, our lives are mapped out for us; from beginning of life to our last breath, there is a path that we should have followed. In other words, God has laid the order for our lives, however, because we have free will, we deviate away from the perfect plan and windup doing what we think is a better plan, and we soon find out that there is no better plan, for our lives, than God's. If if we acquire all the goals and wealth we set out to get, our utter happiness is not complete; we must include God, in my opinion.

If you have an honest relationship with God, in my option, I think you feel rich even if you are not. The plan that God has planned is the best plan.

I couldn't pass but to agree with you, my friends...God has laid the best path to live the life for us, and yet we still went astray from that way, thinking that our ways and plans are better than God's which eventually proved wrong...The worldly possessions are not very important for me, because I believe that the ultimate happiness is not based on your wealth or your possessions...
You have achieved the ultimate happiness when you have the blessing of God in your life...

Yes p3ks626, one should strive not only to attain the material riches of this world, but most importantly, the riches that come from God.

Hi. gelayagui98. That is very true, everything that we acquire and have obtained in life comes from God. God is the one that blessings us with everything that we have now and will soon have in the future. Many people forget this and they get so big headed into thinking that they have acquired all that they have all by themselves. But this is not true at all. God has given us blessings. It is only him that has done so.

I believe that it is human nature to forget God when everything goes well, and then remember Him when difficulty arises...Most of us behave this way, and only some are not...I remembered seeing Bruce Almighty some years back...Although he being tried to be the One, he is unable to imitate the quantity and quality of God's job...Everything he did results in bad things, and thus he gave up his God-like ability...
There must be an entity that control this world, and if I were to find it I will tell you it is God...

I truly believe that everything comes from God.
That's why when i am besieged with a problem, i ask God to help me go through it, because i know He is there watching how i am coping with it. I know he allows us to have problems, but not in a way that it despairs us so much, because he whispers in the most inner recesses of our mind to ask for help fervently from HIM, whenever we cannot take it anymore.
He is omnipotent and omnipresent so we could call on HIM anytime and anywhere .

Indeed what you say is true...There is nothing in this world that can exist without Him...He is the everlasting, omnipresent entity which controls everything in this world, whether it is microscopic or macroscopic...There is nothing that can get away from His attention, for His attention is unrivaled...
Thus, we as His creation should be thankful for His blessings towards us by obeying His commands at all cost...It is the nature of human to forget about the blessings God gave to him, and for that we need constant reminder from our friends to remind us about God...For that reason, we must choose our friends... Back on the topic, indeed He will grant us things that we want provided that we obey what He has commanded us to do...Nevertheless, worldly possessions are temporary and what is more important is how you lived your life to prepare for the Hereafter...

God reminds us never to forget Him when we become prosperous. furthermore, the Bible instruct us never to think that we made ourselves wealthy, so then, we must never think that we have made ourselves wealthy by our own power and strength. It is God who make us great and strong so let us praise Him when we succeed in life.

All things that we have, material or immaterial, everything comes from the Lord. So we must learn how to appreciate everything. God's wisdom guides us to make right choices in the confusions of life. God is the author of life. he is the reason why certain things were allowed to happen. so when your life is mixed up and things get heavier, he makes all things beautiful and meaningful. God has a perfect plan for our lives.

People at the start of the day are already rushing and same late at night,everyday routine. Always in a hurry trying to reach something. What is it that they are in a hurry for. We all have our end,and as we go on our way maybe in split seconds it is already our end. We should bear in mind that there is nothing to be afraid of for GOD really provides. If only we are in him following His rules and at the same time serving him ,HE will give us all our needs.Do not forget that we need to give him also A SHARE of our time,to talk to him thru prayers,follow and serve HIM according to his will.Believe and trust in HIM for he will never leave us, only if we have entered the right door. Anyone who enters it will find peace, happiness and contentment,so find the way and the truth. Life comes from GOD do not wait for the time he will take it from us without pleasing him. Give him satisfaction as chosen children,and take time to reach him to be added as one for those still searching.
