when you look at the mirror.. what do you see?

Hi. chiyosan. I see a woman that loves herself and others very much. I see a woman that is a strong mother, wife, sister, aunt, daughter, granddaughter, grandniece and many more roles that I play in my life. Even when I am not dressed up, I will see a woman that still looks very pretty and defined.

I have often been perplexed by the question of who i see in the mirror when i look into it. do i really seem myself as others see me or am i more critical of what i see in myself? My answer can change from day to day.

Its hurting to find oneself ugly, or loser or sad. I do feel this sometime but i feel as if i am doing injustice towards myself or for my soul. Its not good.

Hi Chitosan!. I think when I see mirror this morning I see new acne in my forehead . I never consider my self ugly, what I can see is my self physically, well I feel ugly when my eyes were big after crying. I think if I wanna know if I know loved its will show in how they look at me, smile and the way they treated me. I don't need mirror to tell me, I just know.

In the mirror I see nothing but myself. Ugly or not it is, I try to accept me as I am.

I see the ugly side of me. Everyone of us sometimes look in the mirror and say to themselves that they area ugly and sometimes beautiful. But in fact, we are what we are. No matter what dress we wear and make up we put on. we dont change. Its our brain that keep thinking the other way.

I see a 68 year old woman with wrinles, bags under the eyes, gray in the hair, a slightly twisted bottom lip left over from a stroke & carotid surgery but i'm very thanful i can still see this old woman.

I just don't look at the mirror to see my physical appearance, check out some pimples and see if my hair needs a makeover. I talk to myself, how am I doing right now. Just like you, I sometimes feel unpretty even if look alright in the mirror, I sometimes see my aura not okay. I just think of better things and all the blessings that I have. Maybe the purpose of the mirror is to keep us see ourselves to think what is good and what is not about us. So we could change it.

rarely in a day do i look myself in the mirror. when i do, i see a reflection of a man far different than i used to see, lol! i mean the physical features of my face, the changes as one grows old, but i realize just by looking at myself, i learn to talk to myself..as if i see my conscience and i talk back to the reflection of myself, telling myself of things to be accomplished for the day..

No matters what happens our families will always be beside us guys!! :) I rally dont think anyone in the world looks ugly O.O 'cause it never depends on the physical attractiveness,it depends on who we are from inside that results in other people loving or hating us...so guys always be confident and think your tom cruise or angelina jolie imfao!!

hi there, the first things i see when i look at the mirror are my pimples and the scars LOL but seriously, i see a stressed and problematic girl, an unloved girl from the family but very much loved by my boyfriend. i just wanna get things done soon so i can be happy again. i have just been stressed because of my papers and exams and all the family problems. oh and another thing is i see a very skinny girl and no matter how much i eat i still don't gain weight

A refection! On the serious side. I would not say I'm ugly but I'm not beautiful either. I'm content with how I look. I do wish I could lose weight and keep it off. The hard part is keeping it off. My husband loves me the way I am. That makes me happy. He's my rock. Best Wishes!
