What was the first anime you have seen?

I don't remember which one was the really first, I think it was Fushiigi Yuugi or Yuyu Hakusho (Ghost Fighter)... I really enjoyed those two and I still watch re-runs when I have the chance.

Among my first animes are Robotech, Voltron, and Sailor Moon. I also watch pokemon and dbz. Recently I got back into it because of Fushigi Yuugi and Samuri 7.

Dear friend, It was long back, when I was child I used to watch the Kuttus a comic character of our local channel, now it is not available. It was very interested in it during my childhood.

First one.. I guess it's Doraemon. The first one I fall in love with and got me hooked to anime.. Slam Dunk! ^^

I think my first anime series was Cardcaptor Sakura. Only, they aired the crappy English dub version on TV, but for some reason it just stuck with me all these years. I got my hands on the original Japanese version not too long after and I still think it was the best magical girl series ever. I have other favourites now, of course, but I think it was kind of like the gateway anime for me. :)

my first anime was dbz. i realy enjoy that show. makes me wish i had the same powers they have like the kamahamaha. i would like to beable to grow back my lembs and grow stronger after almoste dieing.

Yea I think pokemon was one of my first animes. Well, I didnt regard it as a anime but a cartoon because I saw it on tv and never used the internet. Pokemon is the best and it is still on going show. I havent seen the recent seasons but it looks kinda downhill from where it started. The games as well because now all the pokemon look kinda funny.

The first anime that I have seen would probably Sailor Moon. I was in my elementary days during that time, I always wait every Saturday for the new episode. Then probably next is Samurai X, the English version, I love the songs and the characters. Those are my classic anime.

I can't really remember. I just watch what my brothers watch during my childhood. I remember watching with them Dragon Ball Z, Ghost Fighter, Flame of Recca,... and even Daddy Long Legs with Judy Abott in it! Hahaha!

My first anime every is Voltest V, I was 3 years old then and its like 5th rerun of the show. My siblings said it took them 20 years before they get to watch the ending of the show since its looped with replays whenever the show is about to end. Voltest V is like an anime during the 70's but it was looped forever in my country until the 90's through out the early 2000's. Then next is the 80's version of Astroboy, I think I was like 5 years old then. those are anime titles older than me. LOL

hello, Actually I cant remember what was the first anime that I watched because they are so many and I start watching it since I was young. I love anime specially if it has a love story. But let me say my favorite one that I watched because I cant remember the first one. "FUSHIGIYUGI". are you familiar with it? I like it really.

My first anime was Dragon Ball-Z. That was years ago and I guess the success of such tv show gave way to more anime tv shows locally. Great for kids and not so kids.

It was too long to remember which anime is the first I have ever seen. I guss doraemon may be the first. It was popular among childern. I also have a series of doraemon manga books.

The earliest anime I can remember watching was Akazukin Cha Cha. It's very vague in my memories, but I'm pretty sure it was the first. I watched it in Cartoon Network; it was in English so I didn't understand the storyline very well. I found it funny though. The concept of a sudden growth spurt just because of a little bit of magic amused me to no end. I had no concept of robes for men either at the time, so I though the guys who were in robes were wearing dresses. XD

My first anime was Dragon ball Z, but I really have no interest on it, after I saw Pokemon, which was way too better. Now, I don't watch the show anymore too. I lost interest in anime after that. But now, I still watch Fairy tail and Naruto.

I have to say that the first anime I ever watched has got to be either Sailor Moon or Dragon Ball Z. I was 4 when those shows came out on cartoon network back in 1998 so I don't remeber what I liked about it too well, but I do remember that I like it. And I still not just like the shows but love them. I remember jumping up and down on the couch saying "It's 4! It's 4! Sailor Moon is on!" I also had pink rain boots so I pretended that I was Sailor Moon with them on. With Dragon Ball Z, I only remeber watching it on Toonami's midnight block. The only time I was allowed to stay up late back then was when my older cousins came over so we watched that Anime together. Even today, I am showing my 5 year old brother how to do the Kamehame.

The first anime i watched was probably pokemon or DBZ. I can't really remember which one I saw first. but like it was around when i was 5 that i saw them. And i guess I was so into pokemon when i was young that i dressed up as a pikachu when i was 5 that Halloween. Lol xD
