I have three children and today my oldest daughter turned 9 Wow I have been with her for a whole decade and she has brought so much joy and laughter into my life in these last ten years. I got pregnant with her at a very young age she was born four months after I turned sixteen. My parents didn't think that it was a good idea to keep her and her dad didn't want her either so I ran away for months and stay as far as possible away from them all because I hated them all at the time for trying to make me kill my child. I had always been responsible all my life and I was stable money wise but I was mentally. Anyways I ended up coming back home to my parents after I was sixteen weeks pregnant so they couldn't make me get an abortion and I had a very deep conversation with my dad and I asked him if someone gave you a pistol right now and told you to shoot me in the head right now would you do it because thats what I feel like you are trying to make me do to my child. After I got settled back in at home I continued high school and stayed on the honor roll. The day before my daughter was born I went to a doctors appointment and during an ultrasound they told me that it looked like my daughter had a hole in her heart and that they would need to induce my labor so they told me to come to the hospital at six the nest morning. I had my bags packed for weeks so I was prepared even though I was nervous. I stayed up on the phone all night long like the average female and I kept telling my friend to hold on so I can change clothes. my bottoms kepts getting drenched so I started wearing a pad not knowing my water was leaking slowly. By five in the morning it was so much liquid I couldn't control it anymore so I went and knocked on my parents room door and told them I think my water was broken. My mom jumped up so fast and started to panic. She grabbed my suitcase and rushed me out the house still in wet clothes. She was moving so fast to get in the car she hit her head on the top of the door getting in. I think that calmed her down because after the Ouch she said okay I was rushing because I don't want you to have this baby on me. lol We arrived to the hosptial safely and I dressed out. The nurse had to break my bag completely because I only had a small ripe it in then they gave me liquid to induce my labor. When I started feeling intense pain they decided I need an epideral when I felt the long needle in my back I jump and the dose missed so only the left side of my body went numb. They decided to give me mophine through my iv and after 45 mintues I was so drowsy I couldn't function correctly and feel straight asleep for hours. I was in labor for 17 hours. I was so drugged up that my daughter started coming out on her own I was so out of it that I was mumbling I think the baby trying to come out but the nurses paid me no mind. After my third time mumbling my mom said I think she trying to say something I think she said the baby is coming out. I felt my daughter sliding all the way down to the entrance. When the nurse put my legs back to see where the baby head was at she yelled she ready to deliver the babies crown is coming out. Somehow I woke up enough to give four good pushed and my first baby girl Delores Taiya Kaliyah Adisa was born on March 26th 2002 Her sister just recently had a birthday too on Tue March 22 she was she was born four days before her big sister turned two. When I went into labor with her I was staying with my boyfriend and we were both laying down in the bed he was writing and I was watching tv. I felt a large gush. I told him I think my water just broke like three times because he disregarded me. I had been in terrible pain allday so I don't know why he didnt believe me. I had to stand up and pull down my sweat pants for him to see the water pour from in between my legs. Then he jumped up and ran in the other room to tell his friends I was in labor. We left for the hospital with my oldest daughter with us because my best friend was suppose to meet us there to get her while I deliver. Every bump on the ride to the hospital got more and more painful and by the time I reached my destination I was screaming. By the time I got settled into my room I was already 8 cent dilated. They nurse kept telling me I could get pain relieve even though I really couldn't because I was in the active part in deliver. My friend hadn't showed up yet to pick up my oldest daughter so everytime I yelled she yelled right after me. I went through this pain for two hours before it was time to push. I got her out with three pushes. Her dad stood there and awe and when she was finally delivered I never seen him smile so big. Right when he cut the cord and started to hold her and show her to her sister my friend walked in lol March 22nd 2004 Teloria LaDonna Felicia Mclean was born and has giving me an even bigger gift of love Happy Birthday Girls I would go through that day over and over again just to get the reward I recieved at the end.
