i'm a coffee addict to. Love coffee but my doctor said that i should stop drinking. So..i'm not happy about it, cuz i love the taste, the smell of coffee in the morning, or any moment of the day. You should try to drink less coffee,it's no healthy, you have to think at your health.

Why do you wan't to stop drinking coffee? 4 cups a day isn't really much. I am also addicted to coffee, but i cut back on how much i drink a day. Now i drink between 6-10 cups in a workday, before it was about 20 cups.
I don't think it's a big problem to be addicted to coffe.. i like it.

Hi there investor 211!
I am very dependent on coffee too! I think I am addicted to caffeine so much.
On a serious note, I have been a coffee drinker for several years already. Some people told me to stop due to health hazards. That was until there was a news that coffee has some benefits too.

Me too.. I just love coffee and im so addicted to it. And because of that I got immune to its effects already. I used to have insomnia and palpitations because of it, but now I experience the opposite, I feel drowsy when I drink coffee...lol. Hmmm... I cant really suggest any ideas on how to handle drinking too much coffee. Maybe you just have to learn how to control yourself, if that doesn't work, you can try not buying any coffee so you cant drink coffee at all.

Me too!!!!!!!!!!!!
My body fluids is 75% coffee. haha.
Okay kidding aside, maybe you should try to prepare other beverage or other snacks instead. Like if you already have one cup today and you want to make another cup of coffee, just divert your cravings to your second fave beverage or just eat a coffee-flavored chocolate or coffee-flavored candy or coffee-flavored ice cream if you like. :)

hi
i don;t drink coffee because even just one cup can make me stay awake for almost 24 hours even though when i was working the graveyard shift before, i never drank coffee so i can go straight to sleep when i get home. because if i did, i still wont be able to sleep until my next shift
i know too much of it, is not good. my dad drinks coffee almost 4x a day too, it's like his vitamins hehehe but when he is sick, he takes tea or milk and he doesnt have or feel any problem with that :) so i think he can still live without coffee

addicted? no I would say you are addicted yet. I usually make about 5 pots of coffee a day, and that is only for three people. However, I had to slow down on my coffee intake, when I foud out I was pregnant. I would drink one less cup of coffee a week, until I just didn't want it any more. Now, I drink a cup once in a while, but it isn't a requirement to have it anymore. Hope this helps.

investor I cannot recommend ways on how to stop because that would not be nice on my end. See if you stop drinking I will continue on my end and how fair would that be, lol...
Seriously I cannot function if I don't immediately get my morning coffee, to me it is like a car, it won't run without fuel. So same here I just have to have it or I will turtle my way and not very happy. If you are concerned with the amount per day then I may suggest that perhaps a smaller mug might do it, because you will still be reaching for the two but smaller portions.
Cheers to you and me with two mugs of coffee!

Ah! Coffee, gift from nature for us to enjoy. It is better than smoking, right?
Anyways, four cups of coffee a day may or may not be too much depending on the size of the cup. So, if you really want to cut down, use a smaller cup for 1 of the 4 cups, then 2 smaller cups, got the idea? Also, don't forget to drink plenty of water.
If you are really addicted, you will get a pounding headache if you miss your daily coffee.

wow! you have drank that much coffee...I don't drink coffee even though i'm already twentyish so I would not understand your problem but! My mom is also a coffee addict so yeah i saw how she struggled with her drinking coffee. I think what made her stop drinking coffee was because she started to regularly feel palpitations.. What she did was from drinking almost 8 cups a day she slowly started to drink milk or water instead of coffee, also we don't buy coffee anymore. When she really craves for coffee she either drinks tea or eat coffee flavored candy. Slowly but surely now she seldom drink even a cup of coffee anymore.

same here, I usually drink 4 cups a day. at the very least 2 at night, if I'm working that day sometimes I don't have time for 2 in the morning. thats nothing, 4 cups is nothing you should be worried about. at work I come across people that have at least 6 cups a day, usually much more. 2 in the morning and 2 at night is absolutely nothing and the norm. and if you enjoy it definitely there is no need to stop it.

it is not possible for me to live without cofee atleast twice daily. Every morning i require one cup of cofee without which i will not be able to step outside. Ofcourse coffee can act as a stimulating agent and i have become an addict to it.

I am addicted to coffee to I really rely on it for energy. Its to the point where I crave the taste the warmth and the smell of the coffee in the morning. I also drink coffee at night and it to follow up from the cup I had before it and the fact that I'm feeling really sleepy again. Sometimes coffee makes my stomach hurt very bad and I end up in the bathroom and when I consider that down side I try to slow down.
