What exactly is antimatter consisting of?

I just asked myself that question after watching a documentary.

The antimatter concept is pretty weird. It says that every atomic particle, ie. the electrons, the neutrons and the protons has an opposite particle with the opposite characteristics of it. For instance, a positron(which is positive) is the antiparticle for an electron. Scientists even predict the possibility of a universe entirely made up of antimatter where you can find a 'you' made entirely of your antimatter.
