This year I have worked the least within the 5 years. Though I knew I would get some back, it actually turned out to be almost 2K more. Because I am going to school I can qualify for an education credit.
I have you every been pleasantly surprised with your tax return? What did you do with the money?
For me I will be using it to pay for a summer class (Physics 2) that I will be taking and putting the rest in the savings.

I'm not yet earning my own money so I'm not yet subject to any tax. I'm quite not sure about what you said so I'll just confirm it, you're tax return came from your 5 year earnings? If so, great if you can redeem it all! In my country, tax returns will prescribe in 2 years.

I guess I wasn't clear as to what I said. I was just saying in the past 5 years, this year I have earned the least and wasn't expecting a good tax return. Every year we must file our taxes and I usually get stuff back because of a school credit that the US is giving for people furthering their education.
