how do you react when you recieve a compliment

I get alot of compliments especially online from men. It doesn't really phase me because I get the same one so much i just reply thanks or if someone does say something that seem genuine I say I highly appreciate the compliment. And those are the ones that make me feel good or blush. Other than that I disregard them

When i was younger i was very shy and would brush off compliments. over the years i have learned to take compliments for the gestures they are intended to be.

I have tough time, when I receive a compliment publicly... If I am praised by my boss or my colleauge or friend in private then I accept it with a smile and Thank you... But in a group it becomes tough.. .Don't know why!!!

I kind of blush ,they make fun of me and then I keep asking them to say even more compliments,I am a greedy person! Is kind of great when some one compliments your work and even more great when he compliments you.Is nice it helps you keep trying ,improving and doing your best. I am sure that the best thing to do when someone tries to use a compliment and means something totally different ,like an underlying insult is better to ignore it someone that uses petty tricks to get at you is probably very jealous of you.If he was honest or concerned about you he would be honest with you.
