What is the best nail color for those who have darker skin?

I'm not exactly dark-dark but I'm not white either. A little in between, somewhere on the darker side. (Ugh! I'm having difficulty explaining my skin tone LOL) So maybe you could say I'm fair-skinned(?) I'm not sure 
Anyway, I always envy women who could change their nail color every so often and have fun rocking it. I've always stick to 2 colors: platinum white and exactly red since I feel that those are the only colors that would make my toes and fingers appealing and not look corny.
Now, I want to try colors that are more fun such as electric blue or something especially since summer is here. I know there are several hundreds of colors out there I'm just not sure which ones would suit me best. Any suggestions?

From my opinion, any color won't be an issue for you, just the matter you feel comfortable and confident to use that color. I like red because it's sexiest symbol for women and even you have dark skin, it will suit you!
