when i was in the food & sales industry before which require me to stand for 10 hours, i always wear tights underneath as my mom advised me. It sure helps because I don't get tired easily:) But i wonder what could really prevent varicose veins. I heard that poor blood circulation could lead to it. So whenever I get tired from walking I elevate my legs to promote circulation or wear tights overnight. Do they help?

Varicose is the formation of blood clots that accumulate in our veins. One prevention is move your lower extremeties once in a while when you are required to stand for long period of time. Secondly everytime you are done with your job you can elevate your legs to have the blood flow back to your central body for proper circulation. On the other hand if you already been diagnosed with varicose veins it is not advisable to massage them because the blood clots may be dislodged and end up in you brane or heart that will lead to stroke.

after having walked for long hours I always elevate my legs when I get home. I wonder if it's okay to wash up after resting for like an hour. I just feel the need to be clean before hitting the sack. I wonder if that's okay. I'm just scared to get varicose veins.

This is also my current problem right now. What's worst is that My varicose veins is painful it is starting to bulge. What I've done is that I wear a stockings to prevent the varicose veins from bulging.
