Ever since runescape returned to using free trade scammers are back trying to steal everyones money. Just the other day i got on my account and this guy offered me full rune (g) for only 800k, so naturally i accepted but he never gave me my rune so now im broke and im trying my best to make more money on the game.

Lol scams are the worst you can get, especially that fake doubling money or tripling money scam, the worst you can get.

well, that is the result of it. If people are not so stupid to fall into it, there would be no sense in trying to cheat them from their money, eh?

Ever since free trade has come back this kind of thing has gotten really obnoxious, the fact that people waste their time trying to get others to fall for their cheap scams is pathetic. I actually wrote an article about 5 of the most popular scams and how to avoid them, I would share it but I can't paste links.

The red flag should be if they ask you to give them the money then say they will give you the item in the next trade, this is always a scam, no doubt. Always make sure the money and item are in the same trade screen, and watch both screens and make sure it is what you want.
You should always be wary of everyone while trading, like the saying goes, if it's too good to be true, it probably is. =)
