Tution is important factor for Study or Not

A lot of it has to do with parents pressurizing their children to do well in school so they will be ahead of the class. In my days, tuition is a luxury, and I never had tuition throughout my entire school life. I empathize with the kids nowadays. Besides tuition, there is also enrichment (e.g. music lessons, ballet, etc etc) which they have to attend. How will they ever live their childhood? Frankly, given there is so much tuition and the claims of tuition centres producing excellent students, maybe the schools should close down and let the tuition centres become schools themselves. LOL.

Tuition classes are not at all necessary, if the teacher tech the lessons to make the student to understand the subject. Normally in India ,many Schools do not select the teacher with some standard. As, they are paying very low remuneration to the teacher, many intelligent talented teacher do not take up teaching due to low salary and they get their appointment, where they get more salary. So, in a normal school when our children are studying, the children are to get coaching from the tuition. If good teacher is i place,then there is no need of any tuition.

I remember that, while in highschool, I regularly atended tuition classes on mathematics, God!..., I was, (ok,ok..., I am still) lousy in mathematics, but I believe that it is not escential for studies, yet, it is a great help, if someone studies, well, and with discipline at home, then tuition may be ignored, but, there are some cases where an extra help is welcomed. Though, for your post, I would tell that this is kind of a fashion in your country, isn´t it?, this is kind of common amng youngsters world wide.

what is tuition classes? is it the money you pay in the school? in my country, the tuition refers to tuition fees, the money that you have to pay in order for you to enrol in the school or university.

Well in asian countries going for tuition is a hype thingie and many go.I guess because the school teaching staffs sucks1 and hence students have to rely on outside help however, some students do make the good grades without tuition in the same place.And the tuition teachers are also teachers in those schools.HEnce it really depends on the students themselves whether they need the extra help or not.Tuition cause money and tired the students.

Hi, tution has now become a trend in india. Everybody is going so i should also go. But, for a student who has the mentality to study does not require tution. Tution is for those who does not show self interest in studies. But for higher studies theres also lot of benfits, such as special methods,etc.

The main reason behind the increase of tuition is the increase salary of the teachers or professors. Another reason will be the upgrading of the facilities and other needed in the school... But unfortunately more school nowadays are after money. Their reason to be approve from the board of education for their petition to increase tuition fee...but no new facilities being added or the books is always their. They can't change it...the book should be new every 4 years...

I think tutorials or as you say tutions are just a form of making our children to study with some support. Some kids do not listen at home and are stubborn in this if we get them some nani or teacher who could make them study it becomes good because they sit at a place. whereas when they grow up i think they can know the responsibilty.

Tuition fees are very important factor to study or not because scholarship is very limited depending on the mental ability or when the students are very good in sports. In my country, there are families who could not afford even elementary education. Though it is rather small amount specially if they would enroll them to public school, they would rather spend their meager money to food.

Well i think it depends on people but for me, i think it's just waste of time. I mean in tuition classes, the same thing is taught so if you just pay a bit more attention in class, the tuition fee can be saved. I always hated tuition. I did take some tuition classes before major exams but they were so boring. LOL

hi dear i am rahul from india!! i read your discussion. i wana tell that the trend of tution is cuz in the my of all student is they cant do any thing without tution they think that if they not going tution theirs friend will be gett good marks and and they cant qulify the exam. they thought that techers of school or colleges not study good cuz ythey not take more extra money like tution. its in thier mind just.

Hi surekhaji, First I have to explain the meaning of tution classes to friends from outside India.Tution classes means extra classes after school or college and extra money required to pay for this.But the teachers who are employed in school are not allowed to give tution. In my opinion syllabus at school or college is responsible for this tution culture since it almost impossible to cover all the syllabus in the school.And also teacher takes thier job for granted and don't pay attention in the school.

i think not because spending on tution is the wastage of money and also the wastage of time so just concentrate more in your class while your school teacher is teaching you.

Hi Now a days all the schools and colleges run from morning to evening. so there is no need of any extra classes these days. children are not having any time to play . They come home tired eat and sleep.

I think tuition can be important but it depends on the circumstances. Like if a student listens in class and does all the work at school and at home and is generally doing well then there's not really much need of tuition. But say the teacher isn't very good and the student just doesn't like school then it can benefit them as they'll learn things in a better way and it will be more clear to them. I am personally just about to sit my exams and I don't have any tutors but I would consider getting a Chemistry tutor as my Chemistry teacher isn't very good. But if I was doing well in Chemistry anyway I wouldn't really be considering it. It also depends on whether the student is willing to learn. Like a parent might buy a tutor for their child but if the student has no interest in education then they'll probably still not do well as they don't have any motivation and they don't really care whether they do well or not.

It increases every year but the quality of education is still the same. I would be okay if school increase the tuition fee if they try to improve the quality of education and also increase the salary of the teachers.

I now a university student.I think actually the tuition is important for us to repair our knowledge before we taking exam.But some people that can give full attention in class,they can get what their teachers teach in class.About the tuition is important or not it is very different for every person depend on their need
