Do you tell your relatives or friends in real life that you are a member of MyLot? If you do, how do they react? What kind of questions do they ask you? If I tell my friends that I earn money online the typical reaction is: "Oh really? I didn't think that was possible" They ask me for more details and then they often say: "I still don't understand, if you don't own the site why do you earn money? How do you get paid? What is paypal? Do I have to write in English? No thanks, I prefer to write in Danish!" (and I just thought that I had found a new referral )

hello,
I been here in mylot for 2 years and yet can't get friends to join this site.
Like what you've wrote here, they will asks some silly questions rather than trying to prove that we earned from this site.
I get tired of inviting them, they'd rather stay playing and having some flirty chat in Facebook than earning...well...good for them...(it's their choice)
happy weekdays

My friends also prefer to spend their time on sites like Facebook instead of earning money. They prefer to chat to their friends, play games etc. I think that they miss out on a lot of good things that way, but like you say it is their choice. Among my friends I am still only person who earns money online, and my friends are not really interested in things like online money making sites.

Hi porcospino, yes i will tell my family members, relatives and my friends too about what is mylot. Of course my family members knows what i am doing in mylot but my relatives and friends doesn't know. They will ask many questions about mylot then i will show them my payment proof and also the discussions i posted and other friends posted and also the members how they are active in the community. They show interest but may not be having time or don't have computer knowledge etc., they may not participate but i never insist them.
Have a good day.

Some people are interested in hearing more about MyLot but don't want to participate, I also respect that. Some people are too busy with other things and prefer to spend their time on non paying sites instead. My parents have asked me about MyLot and they asked me what kind of site that it was and how it worked. They thought that it was an interesting idea, but they aren't interested in joining. One of my friends said that she didn't want to write English in her free time, she wanted to relax, so there can be many reasons why people aren't interested in joining.

not real life but online: I tried sharing mylot with members of moneysavingexpert
they're usually happy to post all kinds of money saving/making chat, and personal gossip on there and facebook for nothing but because this isn't set out like a normal forum/message board most of them weren't interested.

I can see that it can be a problem if your local language is very different from English. I also live in a country where English isn't our first language, the children learn English from elementary school, but many people prefer to write in Danish instead of English, because it is easier. The Danish and the English language both use the latin alphabet so ín that way Danish is less different from English than your language, but some people still think that is too much trouble to write in English and they prefer the Danish discussion sites.

I like MyLot a lot. It is a great place to find friends from around the world and a great place to have some interesting discussions My friends are not interested in online money making either. Sometimes they have some pretty unrealistic ideas about the money that you can make online. In a offline job in my country you usually earn at least $20 an hour and when they realize that they are not going to earn that kind of money online they lose interest.

I found mylot by chance when i browse something to increase my blog visitor. I was quite complicated for the first time, but mow i'm getting on t he track. I invite my friends and my boyfriend as well. Same like other people my friend prefer to stay online at facebook, posting a status, uploading new picture. That their life, they feel happy and enjoy to do it, why should i insist them. The person who choose mylot in really want to improve their self to be more.

My friends also love to spend their time on Facebook. I have a profile on Facebook, but I hardly ever use it and I have never been very active there. I prefer to spend my time here on Mylot instead. My friends don't understand that I don't want to spend my time on Facebook, but I find a site like MyLot much more interesting because I am able to talk to many different people from around the world.

People doesn't believe that one can earn online. I showed my bank statement when I received money still they are not convinced. they will spend hours on twitter and facebook without earning a penny but they won't like to post a response here and earn something. I have stopped approaching my friends to mylot.

I really haven't mentioned it all that much for the same reason that the other users have said I did mention it to my daughter, and she isn't interested, since we don't make all that much here, and she needs a lot of money as she has fallen on hard times. I just continue to do mylot on my own as I have since I have been here, as I would prefer to do it on my own that way if I don't earn, then I only have myself to blame and no one else. It is true we don't earn all that much here, but mylot isn't about the money anyway. It is about the knowledge we gain from others by reading their views. Of course earnings a bonus is a great thing, and that is what mylot is, is just a bonus anyway. I certainly can't live on what I make online, as it isn't enough to do much with. I am still looking for different ways to earn, and I know I will find something that will help me. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Some people get disappointed when they realize that they don't earn that much money online. Some of my offline friends expected to earn the same money online that you earn in an offline job and there is a big difference, because most people earn $20 an hour in an offine job in my country. I agree with you, MyLot isn't only about the money. I get so many other positive things here. I am able to talk to people from around the world and I am able to learn a lot of new things. I have found soem great friends and I have learned a lot about other countries since I joined

I already told my online friends, relatives and other people regarding this mylot though I already inform them that this is not like a rich scheme method it is something that you should be addicted so that you will earn more. But at least this is not scam and I was successfully paid.

I talk about myLot to many of my acquaintances especially all the ones who are dramatic on facebook but for some reason none have ever been interested.
When I talk to them about myLot not so much about the earning aspect but more so that they can have a really great community to talk to others with the same interests but no never has worked none are really interested no matter what, so I stopped telling them about it.

My friends aren't interested either. One of my friends asked for the name of the site and she visited MyLot once and after that she never returned. I also told some of my online friends about MyLot, but they weren't interested. They didn't like the idea of getting paid for their participation, and they said things like: "If we get paid for the discussions people will write all sorts of nonsense just to earn and the quality of the discussions will be very low" I told them that I didn't agree with that and that we have many interesting discussions, but they didn't believe me.

I have invited friends to mylot and told them that this is a wonderful community where we can earn and learn at the same time. They are interested and ask a lot of questions and then go in front of the computer but dont go to mylot. I dont understand why they seem to be interested but dont go to this site. What i am trying to do right now is to work hard and earn and let them know i have already earned so that they come and join too instead of wasting time playing computer games.

well I told my friends. they react very surprised but do not sign up to myLot. They rather go on other socialization sites than myLot. I do not understand them . Why not to sign up on a site that pays you rather than one that does not? I think people are afraid of such thing. "Making money online?" - they do not believe even if you show them your account, they always come with the idea of scam or illegal. Today I began to convince 3 friends of mine to join. there are so skeptical. I told to them join what you have to lose, more time than you use on Facebook? Some of them have over 5 accounts on a single site but they don't try to have only one on myLot. I don't know were do they have time to manage several accounts and don't have time to manage another one. Thats silly.

if there are people who will ask me what do i do online, then i will tell them that i am doing business online as my part time job. i informed them about mylot, i encouraged them to join, some will do and some will not. and most of them are not active already because they want easy pay out not the 10$ amount.

Well I actually tell friends about this site. They would say they dont believe me at first. So i would then try to explain to them. After all that work then they would actually ask, how exactly do you get paid and how do you get the money in your hand. Then I had to explain paypal to them. After all that then it would come to this exact question of how money do you make in a day. That is what everybody seem to be interested in. So I always tell them it depend on you and how you are dedicated to the site. They will say they dont care about that they just want to know how much I make. Then when I tell them about $1 us dollars a day or so, then all of them would say. That is just a waste of time. And they would all just go about their ways. I guess people really dont taking making money via online serious and most of them dont believe that you will really get the money. So sometimes I just really cant bother asking anyone. Sometimes the only time you will hear me talk to about mylot with friends is if they are the one ask me if I know anyway I can make some cash onlune. if they dot ask me first then you possibly you will never hear me talk about mylot on the bases of getting referrals. You though might hear me say that I want to borrow your laptop to go on mylot, or can i check mylot please, or something of the sort. I always keep talking about it until people really want to question what it really is.
