Is the pokemon company running out of concepts for new Pokemon?

I have been playing the pokemon series games for years now, but with the release of the new pokemon black and white I have noticed that there is less originality in the creatures now.
Do you think that the company is simply running out of ideas?
Where do you see the series going in the next ten years? More pokemon, or downhill?

They are definitely running out of ideas for new Pokemon. I felt the same way you did when I saw the new Pokemon that would be appearing for the fifth Generation. I was very disappointed and did not like anything about it. They are definitely going have to step it up, or else I may just lose my love of Pokemon for the new Generations. I honestly feel bad for the kids who play Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum and say it is the greatest game ever. I feel they should get a chance to experience the first two Generations, where everything is the greatest. In the next ten years, they are just going to come up with more uninspired ideas for new Pokemon, and start making more and more for the new kids. In my opinion, starting with the third generation, Pokemon really just became a cash machine. They want more money so they just get a team of people to come up with uninspired creatures they want to put on a video game, then get another team to come up with a crappy storyline or reuse old stuff, put the two together and they have the next Generation of Pokemon. I hope they can revive it, because if they do not, I may just lose all interest in the new Pokemon Generations to come.
