Will the thin film a-si PV module replace the normal power station ?

Now days, solar power as a green power, is mre and more used in many feild, and PV cell developing from the very small set to wide use in the power plant, and especially the thin film Amorphous Silicon solar modules, now in many country use this time, for it is cheep, and also as a environmental products, people do not need to worry about it, it has no risk to people and also the environment. This thin film module now is used on the roof of the residential house and also the roof and the wall of the business building. After the nuclear leak in Japan, more and more people like to use the harmless way to get the power, and so I just wonder will this thin film a-si module replace the normal power station, espically the nuclear station.
