The US on their contribution in trying to free the people of Libya against a tyrant is a good thing in my own view. I cannot bare to see thousands of people are slayed just because of one persons greed. Concerning the war, i think the intervention from the coalition is enough for the rebel freedom fighters to take back their beloved lands. Bombing the military asset of the tyrant is indeed a key role contributing to the future success and freedom of the people in Libya.

Sometimes, war is necessary. I agree with that.Unfortunately, the rebels in Libya is not srong enough. They should not depend on outside forces though the allied forces led by the US have help them a lot.

Considering the US occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, and several other countries, it's another way of saying that the US forces and budget are already stretched too thin. That's why Obama handed down large parts of Libya operations to its NATO allies. Nobel Peace Prize or no, it's the best he can do at the moment to soften the impact of those occupation on the domestic and political climate at home.
