Are you bored in mylot?

Please explain to me what is 'bored'

Hi sweetie. I'm sure your just lazy. Anyway, go outside, jump up and down 10 times and then take a cold shower. problem solved.

Hi kala, Monotony in any field is likely to breed boredom. May be or may not be almost everyday we do mylot and the same thing - start a new discussion, receive response, comment back, or you yourself respond to others posts. Just like this. Any many times you would see the familiar faces missing and only the new and unknown ones roaming around. I have felt bored several times and gained enthusiasm again too. What I do is when I feel exhausted I give it a break and do something else and come back again if it is possible to resume.

Hiya sreekala, Need a break? I think that most People need to slow down hop off the everyday roundabout and just take it easy within reason. Not so easy if you have little ones either I know. My youngest drove me to distraction sometimes I could never write two sentences if I ever tried to write a letter to anyone. But you know it´s he himself that showed me where to slow down. So every Afternoon I would try to get him to nap at least an hour it did not always work and most times it did. Since then I cannot do without this hour of relaxation from everything. Even though I could be on here my mind is relaxing far away from all the cares in the World. We all suffer from exhaustion on some level. I have had to work many hours too and then go home and start all over again. It´s good to get a break from everything sree. Trouble is that you have to make the effort yourself that is the hardest bit. Don´t worry who you can or can´t write to just take it easy and let go. That is very hard seeing as we are taught that we are always supposed to be alert all the time. Up to a point I have managed to let go. Hope you can to.

I don't have time to become bored in mylot. I wish I had more time to be here, I can hardly respond to the last discussions and to comment my old ones. If you are bored here, maybe you should try some different ways of spending your time online, others than mylot. I never heard anybody saying that mylot is boring. How much time do you spend here in a regular day?

hi Sreekala, Sometimes we need to have a break i experienced it i want to response to all the topic but once i started hitting the keyboard i don't know what to say, lot of discussion i want to put here but again when i try to start it all gone. I don't feel bored here because i like to see the newbies discussions, learn new terms from the veterans, read someone's sentiments or happiness. If you feel lazy answering or start a topic just scan the discussion it will help you then if you want to do mylot just do it don't force yourself it will not help you. have a nice day!

Lol...Sree, when you didn't see my reply yet after receiving such a big number of responses it's no doubt that I'm either bored or lazy doing mylot posting. Actually I hadn't participated in writing post for a couple of days, for there were some other schedules that kept me busy. Today I don't have to go for part time work and have time to share a little here. There are only two response boxes without your comments, shows obvious that your are really energetic and full of passion doing mylot posting Hope that the belated response from a sluggish and lazy person would add a little more perfume as well as stimulant to you To be frank I'm actually a lazy and sluggish person for I still owe some good friends emails The creating of this wonderful hot topic is the best way to overcome the problem you face, right?! So you don't need to have a break away from mylot, just have to start another great discussion to vent your depressed feeling here. There is no question of getting bored here on mylot. There are so many discussions to choose from that I managed to find some of them of my interest. You could take your own time to respond or post comment. You have so may friends who eagerly wait for your discussions and comments and you should not disappoint them by being lazy ...... Lol! It is said - 'action cures fears'.

Dear Sree, I come to mylot when I feel bored. Most of my boring is gone while I engage in other works. But laziness is something when I get tired may be both physical and mental. If I want a bit rest for mind, may be I just view some movies or listen to songs, just go for a walk. If my body is tired I would just rest and mind would work. If both is tired I may go for a sleep.

No, I am not bored with Mylot. I enjoy my friends here and feel I have plenty of opportunity to discussion and reply to discussions that interest me and get my mind working. I think when I get to a point where I am feeling bored with this site I will move on. I have tried several other sites like this one but have always come back happy to be a member.

hi sreekala! well, i have been in such situation as well in the last few months that's why I have been inactive too, but there's really something with mylot that makes me comeback...haha even if i am not posting anything back then, i am still here reading and getting some updates from friends. I think all of us just need some break at times. Now I am glad that I am finally back here... Cheer up sree and that laziness will go away!

Hey didi You Getting bored... Of course because I was not around I know that you are not going to discriminate anyone and would reply to all who respond. I think it is the summers and the cricket season that is making you leef lazy and bored. Yes, frieds not hanging out here these days may be a reason for you but I dont think that is an important one... I think you should visit some distant place sometime during the summer vacation of your kids... The daily routine kind of thing may be another reason... A suggestion - why dont you visit some shopping malls and get me some goodies... and when you are doing that dont forget to have some ice-creams

I can very well explain what is 'bored' you mean. Just about 2-3 week back I was dying with a project and I didn't get even 10 mts. to look on myLot and I felt so missing all of you. When it continued for about 10-12 days, I didn't even logged in with myLot. Again, once I competed the assignment and when come back to myLot I really felt so lazy and bored to read, type and even start a discussion also. For 2-3 days, there was no change in my mood and I was totally out of all - may be I was very much working hard with the project which was supposed to complete with 2 months and I finished on 20th day. So, when I come back to myLot, this 'boring' felt seriously and I just end up all the discussions with 2-3 lines and only attempted selected discussions also. It was the symptom of my boredom and I slowly turned to normal when I come with the topic of my 'friend's love affair'. Also, I used to participate in the office and as there is a lot of work in office I would be much of involved with office work and once I get into myLot I need concentration, especially to read the discussions. If get distracted, then I will lose my mood and become useless. It is my scare that the second round of the project is in the air and may come any time. But the difference is that when I lost 20 days of myLot earning (ie approx. 5-6 dollars) I could gain about Rs 33,000/- with the work I have done for 20 days. However,when compare to earning side, projects are always welcome and for my entertainment and fun, myLot is the hero. Thank-s

I don't think you are bored from mylot necessarily. I think it is just social networks are getting boring in general. I used to be ADDICTED to facebook. But now it is not the same anymore. So I have decided to take a break from it for a while so when I go back it will be fresh and new again. Maybe a break from mylot is not a bad idea as long as it is not too long a break!

Hello shree my dear friend. On my part I fully understand that because that's what I feel also. Sometimes I don't feel like replying anyone. Take a break, not even to open mylot for a day or two, am sure two days after you'll be back with full of energy and enthusiasms..take care my friend. Mobhomeir here..

See my dear sis...i am not receiving mylot notification for almost 3 months now,how difficult to scan "friends started" responded, and so on and on just to be updated here in mylot... but... I NEVER GET BORED Okay,what's the problem my dear sis? Motivation...yes,why? You didn't miss me? (sad) Just kidding (smiles) I know it's not the reason. Dear Friend bored word in not in my dictionary I never bored with any work becasue whenever I do the work new or old I always do this with my pleasure and find new ideas, collect lot of new information etc. But due to timing problem we cant response all the discussion or comment on all the responses but I always trying to response all discussion only left which is not understand. My comment is so long so time more time consumed in it. I am free fank and talkative women so I never bore from any work in any situation I completed my all work with my interest okkkkk friend.

I'm a new member today. My English is not good so I join here to practise my skills.
