It would be SAD for 3 OFW's in China

I think this is a Lesson to those people who wants to work abroad.. Don't be fooled by mere promises of money, be smart and instead get to know the kind of people that approaches and recruits you for a odd jobs that you know it can be suspecious. A lot of prayers are going on for these three OFW's which we all believed to be innocent..but in my view, there's nothing the government can do. If they can't even kick chinese fleet out of the Spratlys' what more in this? a lot said that it would take a miracle, but that would be they day. the Execution is the real thing and like what others have said "Ignorance of the Law is the suffering of the OFW's or any foreign workers for that matter" . Since We Filipinos are accustomed to blaming game as usual. i could only blame the government still for unable to clean up the corruption in the country. Any opinions are appreciated.

hi Lk, It was really sad but throwing blame will not help at all partly we can blame government if they just can give Filipinos a decent work with a good salary no one will think to leave this country, it's so disappointing that there will be anothe Flor Contemplacion if ever i hope that the China Government will consider VP requests but like what they said only miracle can help those Filipinos. There is nothing wrong to think about your family future but at least be more careful especially to the recruiters hope this will be a lesson for those who wants to work abroad. Prayers for them. have a nice day!

Hello catch, I don't think the Government has the resources to do so. not to mention, it's really expensive already to consider going to pay OFW for their transport fees, which are truly expensive to boot.i won't risk it now that i have the commercial space though.

sometimes no matter how hard our government will try to tolerate someone will always teach a lesson and for this case, its the Chinese Government, honestly, good for them, atleast these chinese government knows how to put their foot down and be firm in their decisions and this should be an example to Filipinos. Filipinos tend to tolerate wrong doings in our society, i am honestly sad that these 3 OFWs will most likely see heaven or hell early...but it will serve as an example to those naive ones who will most likely fall for people who will use them as baits. One must always observe strict vigilance in whatever they do. Plus if there is one to blame, blame it on the governmetn who cannot eliminate corruption, cannot provide better jobs that our kababayans would rather work abroad and risk. it is sad but still a reality for us.

Hello Jazel, So sad it is but a law is a law. some how, this isn't the last execution that we will along other three hundred filipinos in Chinese Prisons. it's hard to believe that our kababayan's are risking this thing, it proves how brave they are for this matter. corruption can still be eliminated if people can really do something by voting the right people.

All goes back to poverty buddy. These OFW's are just 3 of the poor people like us who just find their way out of poverty. The government could not be blamed either. They have done their ways to find jobs abroad for Filipinos. With the decision of the Chinese court, they also have laws that they follow.

Hello Neildc That is true indeed that poverty is at fault here and shouldn't we always blame the government for it. I think if they do nothing, the public would scrutenize them, if they do something, i think theyjust wasted their journey or travel for nothing, but probably for the sake of doing something for the people to be seen

Sorry Knight, but blaming is uncalled for at this time. Our prayers are very important. And Knight, only the loud Filipinos indulge in the blaming game. The silent majority try their best to make their lives better and correct by following the right process.

Let us all just pray for the souls of the three of our fellow Filipinos executed in China. To me they are just victims of the the ongoing economic malaise we are experiencing which resulted from years of corruption and mismanagement of our country. The road towards recovery will not be easy, but is the right path towards the changes necessary. Let us all be vigilant against corruption, injustices and crime in our country. Changes for the better starts in each and every one of us. If we tolerate evil, then more of us, and probably people we know will end up in same predicaments.

I think we lack the since of it as a nation that gives important to Religion and family, we lack the sensibility to act when there's a need to become one.

It is indeed a lesson for all Filipinos, we are so trusting and we easily believe promises and short cuts. Or sometimes we were blinded by sweet talks and big amounts being offered, which in return will put our lives in danger. Hope that there will be stay in the execution or have those 3 deported back here in the country.

Hello Junrap I think these people are targetting poor rural areas that can really make them fool those people who thinks can be persuaded to go abroad with out going through legal channel means. I just remembered a cousin of mine who actually being referred to go to middle east in one night. i was alarmed because going abroad takes months of paper processing and not to mention training as well.

It truly is sad to know of what might happen the next day. I can't say if it is true or not but bottom line is that the economic situation for the Filipinos should be given more attention. Living in this country is tough. Things tend to get out of hand when it comes to surviving each day here. If you are a family man, you should work so hard just to take care of the family. Sad thing is, even how much you work for it, you do not get what is due to you. Some things in this country is just so wrong.

Hello Axlrate7 I think they did prayed and it was too late i believed. nobody wanted that to happend and they all cried about it though.the reason for it is for us to learn our lesson and not give in to false promises of glory or specially easy money.
