Ajanta Mendis is still the mystery bowler to the New Zealand batters as they were unable to pick him.. At first he bowled few short balls and got punished, but he came back well and at the end it was only Mendis magic as the tail enders did not pick him at all..

I think he remains a mystery bowler for the non-subcontinent players. I am pretty sure that he would have bamboozled the Aussie batsmen as well if they had played him. He definitely bamboozled the English who could never pick him and today the kiwis. I think the Indians have picked him up pretty well now so have the Pakistanis. The rest continue to struggle.
