When we rush our mother to the hospital for asthma attack I thought it's going to be her end but not she was experiencing "hypoglycimia" correct me if I'm wrong with the spelling it was a whirl wind for her it was as if death her self was there waiting. I remember one friend of mine told me that when you are admitted into the intensive care unit you are already in the departure area you are waiting for an another life. But the problem is not the medical problem but the payment for the hospital bill it was enough to empty our pockets and even construed our budget entirely. So the question Life is more important than money?then if there's no money there's no life?

I have a standing order to my daughters, if ever that happens to me: I forbid it totally to be connected into some life saving machine. I do not allow any tube attached to me to prolong my life. If I have to go, then I go!
With your mom though, you have no choice but to earn that dough to sustain her life. It not a question of life being more important than money. There is still life, and you have to do everything that will preserve it. When she goes, naturally, then it is her time.

Life is more important than money but, as we all know, money is also important. But if you're asking which is more important, life or money? I'd say life. Although there are small groups participating in a free health check-up and medical help to those that has no money so when you said "when there's no money, there's no life", I strongly beg to differ.

You differ with reason, I like that yes Life is more important and the least we can do is to sustain it.

Hi maunesrockford92078 and a warm welcome to you to myLot!
So sorry to hear about your mother having been in the ICU. Being in the ICU normally we fear that it can mean a life threatening illness however some do recover because of the prioritized special care.
Medical health care is so very expensive and I am sorry that you all had to experience the huge expense. Please make sure that your mother now and the future follows all of the doctors orders in continuing to remain healthy.
Please know that money comes and goes. We can recover from lost money but a loved one passing we cannot get back. Do make sure she takes care of herself and many blessings to you and her family.
