Hi fellow myLotters.
Recently me and my guy haven't seen each other nowadays because we are both busy. He is busy with his school stuffs and I am busy with mine too.
But we always have time for each other! We always keep in touch.. If we think we can't make to see each other today, we will just have a date online. (using SKYPE or YM)
That's what we call DOL or Date on Line .. We just can't live a day without seeing and talking to each other, that's why we look for a way that we can always talk!

Happy for both of you! Skype and YM is really helpful when it comes to communications especially to lovers. Good thing we have it now,lol!
I believe if there's no Skype or YM,me and my hubby will miss each other more,hehe! But you know what..sometimes seeing each other online makes us feel that we miss each other more,I don't know if it's weird,lol!

I agree with you sis. Seeing them online makes us miss them more. I experience that the first time we use skype, I cried when I closed it. Being with them is much more better so enjoy while they are here, hahahaha. Happy for you as well.

Since my husband works abroad, Skype or YM is also our way of communicating. It helps a lot to a couple like ours.It lessens the loneliness. Communication is the best way to keep a relationship stronger. I'm happy for you Edssssss that you are both making an effort to make your relationship last. GOD BLESS!

Skype is a great way to keep in touch with loved ones that you can't possibly see in person, for whatever reason. In your case, you both are trying to accomplish something wonderful, and education. Even though you keep in touch through technical communication devices, you still should try so how to see each other from time to time in person, this way the relationship will not go stale.

It's good that both of you keep an open line of communication every day. It's one way of keeping the relationship in tact and sharing something with each other even if you're not physically together. I haven't tried this yet 'cause the truth is I am quite scared of long distance relationships. Well anyways, best of luck to both of you. As long as you guys enjoy what you are doing and are contented with online dating, then that's all that really matters.

I see. Well, in my case, we often do not spend much time together during weekdays since he works at night and I work during the day. We see each other a few hours a day and we try to spend quality time with each other during the weekends. Maybe, you two could set up a special day at the mall once a week to keep your relationship stringer and healthier. Just a tip my dear.

Hi..
We are not long distance anymore.. His house is just 30 minutes away from mine.. But are schedule are so full.. So like now, we just chat and talk what happened to the both of us in the entire day!
We just want to keep our relationship healthy! :)

That is great that you all have ways to keep your relationship in order. I have never used skype but me and my guy have use yahoo to chat and share pictures I think this is an excellent subsitute for not seeing each other. Me and my guy also use IMVU to chat and kiss each other. Even though its pretend it still brings a nice piece of mind

IMVU is an animated world where you make an avatar and play with it in its own world. I enjoyed the site before my boyfriend go on but now that he's on there my imvu world is much more romantic. I think its alot of fun to chat on even if you and your guy don't use it together

I am in a long distance relationship right now. My boyfriend and I love each other so much but we are aware that the long distance is such a big barrier between us. That is why we make sure that we don't lose communication. Big thanks to the technology, right? :)

Hi,in this information age, there are lots of ways to contact with others. So even a couple can't see each other in reality, they can try to make it online. it is excellent. keeping in touch can lift you from uneasy condition when you two can't be together.
And sometimes, online date is better in some way than date in reality. You can say something that you can't say because of shy in reality. and which will enhance your relationship.

I think it's great! Staying in touch, letting each other know that you're thinking about them...there are so many ways of communicating,,,use them all!

That's good! AT least even your time doesn't permit you to see each other personally, you still have other ways to see each other. I also use Skype for video call with my relatives abroad and the Fb Chat with my friends here, and really these social networking sites are great help for us so that we won't miss our love ones.

Dating online for temporary is ok in my opinion, however if not term i cannot stand because i don like long distance relationship.Some job assigment may cause some distance temporary is ok with modern technology like social networking and online chating voice chatting or video chatting and such.however , if for long period of time not many people can take it. THere are many temptation out there.

"DOL". I think technology is wonderful today. Communication is the key in any type of relationship and although you and your boyfriend are busy both of you take some time out to communicate and interact.
This is truly great because during the dating boyfriend/girlfriend period it is important to share and comfort one another routinely.

Well, being apart from each other has also its benefits, what's the use of the word "miss" if you're always together? And for you to not to had enough with each other, right? Even the married people have their own different lives to live, especially if it's talking bout your career. For me just a call or a text message will do. Then be the best partner again when your with him or her.

Im happy to know that even if you are busy and may not be able to see each other physically, you both still have time to see each other online. I think this is one of the advantages of our technology because we are able to communicate thru ur computers. I also do this with my friends who live far away. Even if we are not able to see each other for many years, we chat thru ym or skype. I guess i am doing the DOL too! :)
