Why do you come to myLot?

Alright, I got my attraction for this site since a friend showed me he was making money here, he said it was fun to post and plus he could earn money by posting, but this gets kinda boring after some posts if you do it everyday, it is really good to come here once a while, but being here everyday gets boring...
So, here's my opinion on this, when I come to myLot and post, I don't really think about the money, I come here for fun when I got noone to talk to about strange, wierd or maybe just things you can only type because they seem to wierd to believe... Thats called maybe being a thinker or being unburdening, I use the myLot to that, to explain my ideas and write everything that goes on my brain, ideas that can seem stupid, annoying(in a good sence), hard to stop thinking about... This is a very fun website, but if you want to have profit online, maybe you should join a PTC or just play gambling online, this isn't the best place to earn money, this is more of a community where you can talk about almost EVERYTHING if not really EVERYTHING, that's what makes mylot look interesting to me, it's boring to go have your clicks everyday on a PTC, or when you loose money on gambling, or win loads and then loose everything... This is just right the best place to join money, slowly but fun, you can't get better...

I like to be here to escape a hectic day from work or when I am at home off work I enjoy posting and responding to people around the world, I have let go of a lot of my friends in Life because just too much trouble to deal with catching them in lies and doing things I would rather not be around them when they do it whatever it might be and here I can talk and relate to a lot of people here and I love it here when I have no one to talk to I come here and I hope everyone here is my friend because it seems everyone here is a good listener when I am down, confused, sad, or even happy. someone is always here to talk to and if you other my lotters are reading this I really appriceate you guys being there for me!! This place makes me happy!I don't even think about the money here at all to tell you the truth it is nice to make it here the money but I pay more attention to what people have to say and what I can say back like my thoughts, your thoughts, every ones thoughts, and hearing what's going on out there it is so nice to be here! Damn, I loved this comment, because of the fact that what you say is pretty real, rather being here talking with the people, that most are really good listeners, or they wouldn't be here for sure, than being facing problems in real life, facing lies... But, you gotta enjoy the good things in life you have, your real friends, family, etc... I mean, I'm sure there are many there that come here for fun, entreteinment or just to let the heart or the chest talk, most of them are like this... But there's others, only a few, here mostly for money, that isn't fun at all to post without enjoying to share your ideas, I mean, most people post about they're life experience, I'm sure they won't like to see a comment that was just created to make yourself earn money... Once again, its my opinion, everyone has the right to have their opinion hehe... Really liked yours :)

It is mainly for fun and entertainment. Money is not a factor because earning from it is very poor. Another important factor is the knowledge one gathers from it by just going through the various discussions, even if one does not take part in the discussions.

Yep, they don't give much money for the discussions / replies you do, but mainly if you see the knowledge you earn by reading every reply or discussion people starts, you learn from the life experience of many people, its really nice for people who like to learn new things in life

I agree with Filigs and DoctorDidi. It's good to read the discussion posts, add your own discussion posts , add your comment and also read the opinions of the other posters.

Interesting how you use this site to discuss obscure odds and ends when you have no one else to talk to about such things. I never thought of it that way, but often find myself in the same position. Problem is, I am not particularly social, especially on community sites such as these where I barely know anybody. I guess I am still shaken from a bad experience I had on a message board once as well, but I do agree that MyLot is indeed a great community website.
Still, I think the main reason I come here is for the earnings to be totally honest. It can be fun sometimes, and I second that it is not the best way to earn money online, but if you're just out to make some spare change then it can be beneficial. That's probably why I haven't really felt the whole sense of community here - I'm too focused on making a few extra dollars!

Well, I disagree with you in one thing, the money keeping you motivated... But thats my opinion, why I disagree... I disagree because, for exemple, when you make a discussion, do you feel better having some more cents on your account, or you rather having people interested in your discussion and have a nice time reading they're comments and commenting about it, like I am doing, I rather the 2nd one, because if you come to the internet to win money and get bored, then just go work and you earn more and its boring too :P but hey, once again thats my opinion!

i come here to learn something about the people who are in the community. To give and also take opinions on any subject matter and also to get to know other people from around the globe. This also helps me in being able to express what i am unable to do so physically and that is thru writing. Everyday I look forward to logging into mylot because of the fun discussions.

I like mylot too because it feels better to give your opinion and get it off your chest. It is kind of a stress reliever for me. I think this was one of the best ideas on the internet. It also helps you because you can talk about anything and find out anything you need to know. There are so many knowledgeable people and people are from everywhere which is a good variety. I come here for many reasons, but mainly to get some advice from people who know!
