hi wheng! i have an officemate who does smoke also after eating meals. you would see him also going to the restroom with a newspaper to read. he said that somehow smoking has a laxative effect because the nicotine helps in the bowel movement.

Hi. whengcat. I have seen many people smoke after they eat a meal, especially a big one. I think that smoking after eating is not so good at all. With all of the food that is in the stomach, it can make a person feel so bloated. Vapors and food just don't mix.

I think yu need to get your facts right....
First of all Food and Smoke never mixed. Because food goes down to your stomach and smoke goes to your lungs.
Secondly, smoking after a hefty meal does not makes one feel bloated. I know because I'm a heavy smoker and I must smoke after a meal.

It does feel good smoking after meals. It kinda relaxes me. I really don't know the reason for this but I smoked a lot during after meals. This is one of the reasons why it's hard to stop smoking.

My father is a smoker too. I have a little bit of research in this. Once a person starts smoking it would not be easy for him to stop smoking because it is almost as part of their daily routines. But lucky for those who manages to stop smoking.
