I have uploaded of pic of myself with a friend of mine. We were climbing upstream along this waterfall. It was fun, although i have to admit i was scared crossing this narrow strip. I love to go nature wild. I like jungles, mountains, rivers, waterfalls... We then couldn't resist taking a dip in the water but we were careful enough not to step into something too deep. It was so much fun! I would love to hear you sharing your own personal experiences with your adventure trips. In the picture: Gudguda waterfalls, Orissa.

Where is Orissa? I am not into any adventure of that extreme. To me adventure is spending a day picnic in a jungle or visiting a foreign family and spending a day cooking.

First, I can't see you clearly in the picture. Second, I don't like to cook, but I like hanging around some people cooking. Third, I still don't know where is Orissa? For that matter, actually I also don't know from which country are you? I don't sound romantic at all, help...

That looks like an awesome spot my friend! I love to go hiking through the rainforests around here. We are in a coastal strip of a city, but directly behind the city are mountains with World Heritage listed National Parks containing many different walking trails which lead past and under waterfalls, rock pools, massive cliffs and stunning views. This is just one of the waterfalls that you can walk beneath in my favourite National Park. http://www.springbrooktourism.com.au/p2.html

I have a few of my own photos from the surrounding National Parks as well. I keep meaning to create a video of one 22 kilometre walk that my wife and I did. It was awesome. I just have to edit it and then upload it to YouTube. One of those things that I just never get around to doing!

Hello Rawbill, That is beautiful. I want to be there too, walking trails under waterfalls, rock pools, huge cliffs. That is just the place for me ! I would love to be there. I also like the un-ventured jungle places, although we may need a guide but that is so much fun too. Our last visit to a wildlife sanctuary was so amazing, i loved it. For some reason the image on that link didn't open, i wish it did, i hope it's not due to my internet connection.

hi Voldrox! wow! it looks like you just have one great adventure with your friends and yeah its such a nice place, how i wish to see those in real too! I also like having an adventure with nature but too bad that i don't have much chances for it. In my entire life I think I just experienced hiking/mountain climbing twice! because my parents don't usually allow me to go for such adventures coz they are worried that something bad might happen...hehe anyway, with those two that I have, I can say that it brings me great fun and memories.

hi voldrox! yeah, been away from mylot for quite some time and now I'm glad that I'm finally back! well I think its different for me and you since you are a guy! usually parents are very protective especially to their daughters! the first and last time that they allowed me to go for a hiking is when i am already 20 yrs old I guess and my friends needs to go to our house to ask their permission! haha anyway, that adventure of ours turns good even if we are not really prepared for it, resulting us to be missing in the forest! thanks that before our group lose hope, we manage to find the way out! well for sure you will still have chances to experience more adventures like this, if you only give time for it, but just like what i said to shames in his discussion, enjoy it while it lasts and enjoy your youth coz those were the things that will give you smile and great memories to reminisce when time comes...

Hello ckyera, So good to see you after so many days! :) Yeah, i was afraid when it was my time to ask my parents and i should say i am lucky they didn't mind much but just said me to take care and not do stupid things. Even sometimes those days ring back to my mind and brings a smile on my face. Oh, how i wish to go someplace else too till we stay in this college. After that, i would not get such a nice time to have fun.

Hello ckyera :) Oh i should have seen your response sooner. I am glad you can now come back here and talk to us. :) Yes, i realize it is a little bit different being a girl because your parents will protective of you, if it is a big group then they can perhaps let you have some fun with friends. Oh so guys were almost lost ? That must have been exciting ! :D But, yeah it is nice thing you guys got back on track before it got dark, it can get scary later. Yes, i am going to go on more trips now. I really need to refresh myself up with the recent events i had to face. I so badly want to go back to some trekking trip with my friends again ! :) I still have lots of time for that, and i hope my parents give me permission to have a good time with my friends again. Shames and my other friends are planning to go on a trip again, another hill station this time and i so wish to see the snow !!! I hope i get to go there.. I really want to have a nice time with all my friends.. :)

I live nature, it's clean it's lonely, it's quiet. I always love to go mountain hiking. In my country i've been to Ceahlau, that's the name. And from the base of the mountain to the mountain shed which is called Cabana Dochia it's about 1750 meter high. So it takes about 3-4 hours to get there, but the view is awsome. Hope that i'm gonna do it again this summer. Ohh i have a quite funny thing but also cruel that took place there. So we were all around the fire, and we had all the junk placed in a big barrel. We poured gasoline in there for faster burning and we all were sitting at a distance and throwing matches inside the barrel to try and start a fire in there. But some dude appeared:)) with a lighter and he puts his hand in the barrel trying to start the fire:)) the gasoline explodes, and burns the dudes hair all over ,from his hand to his face:)) don't worry, he was fine, we just had a biiig laugh:)) and it took about 1-2 moths for his hair to grow back:))

I love adventure, but i don't have guts to do risky things. I'm not very confident and feels scared always, but i like to see people doing that, i watch most on television, read on magazine or magazine. I'm very proud of you beside you goes nature and you achieve many things that you can share with us, and it's really interesting!

Hello niluhputu, :) Welcome to mylot, dear. It is not advisable to take risk in such places, although it can be fun, it could be fatal as well. If i show those pictures to my parents i am sure they are going to comment on it, if not scold. Anyways, i don't have any problems showing those pics to my parents. Yes, having an exciting and adventurous time in nature is really so much fun ! People from national geographic and discovery cover so much detail and take so much risk to unveil them to the world, I am so proud of such people.

Showering under the waterfalls - Cool and refreshing bath
But I did not see the photo. I wish you have attached it here. I love to see photos of that theme. I love nature and so taking photos of nature is just one of my hobbies. Waterfalls are mesmerizing, and clear and flowing rivers are just so inviting. I wish I could go back to my childhood where the rivers are clear and freely flowing so that I could plunge on the river once again and enjoy the coolness of the water. Waterfalls give very cool water, this is the best place to take shower during this hot summer day.

hello voldrox, I saw the picture and it's a beautiful place. I also love adventure and your picture reminds me of those places that i've explore long time ago. During my high school days,me and my classmates visit places for some adventures and most of the time we loved hiking. We climbed mountains and swim on rivers too. This topic reminds me of my adventures,it's really nice to reminisce all the good memories with dear friends

Hello Jaiho, :) I am glad this discussion reminded you of your good old days. I know someday i am going to miss these days, myself. While it's still time for me to enjoy, i really need to have a great time with my friends. After this, my married life will prevail and my wife is going to take all my time. ha ha. So, when friends are there i should have the best of my singles' life. Nature is very beautiful, indeed.

Well, we have a good group of around 26,members and every week on Sundays we go for an adventures trip well planned in advance so that no one has any problem in attending. And we are luck enough that our city I which we stay is full of adventourous places.Hence, it is really enjoying to go in a group on adventure and recently we had been to Bhongir a place where there is a hill top is thre with around 500 steps and is also covered with a fort which was good to take photographs.

There is nothing that excites me more than travel and being outdoors. when my family and i were on holiday on the Dominican republic i went white water rafting with one of the waiters i got friendly with and it was fabulous. this summer i am taking my 9 yr old daughter camping for the first time so she can appreciate the night sky and how beautiful it can look in the street light free countryside. we camp down by the beach and go fishing in the morning. I hope she loves it!

Hello ajk, Wow, river rafting. That was within our budgets when we were going for the trekking but unfortunately our expenses had a hike and we had to cancel the rafting. I am sure that would have been so much fun! I believe your daughter is just going to love it. I want to do one more thing before i get old enough for it. Bungee jumping !
