I saw this certain laptop in my friends account. And the laptop called Alienware. I was wonder if you are using this kind of product and what can you say about this laptop. The skin of the laptop is awesome. Its like I am watching a pieceof alien gadget. But how I wonder if I start using it. Is it worth it too?
Please advise.

alien ware is a gameing pc if you are going to be playing games on it 24/7 dont waste your money. they are a company that builds systems for gaming booting everything to make games run better. they take $500 laptops and towers and add extras that you need for gaming and sell it for $2000. if your are going to be gaming alone on it then go for it thats what they are built for.

It's top of the line for computers, and HIGHLY expensive, be willing to shell out $2,000 for it.

Alienware is a really good brand and well they where at one point a stand alone company but they had issues with their systems as they where expensive and that is when Dell stepped in and took them over which allowed for them to move forward. If you are looking for a gaming laptop then Alienware would be a good choice other wise for most other things this will be over the top for what most people use computers for surfing the internet watching movies and word docs. Also if you want all the power of an Alienware system there is XPS which is a high end of Dells that is still a very good high performance machines. They are also a little cheaper as Alienware you are paying for buying an Alienware computer the Brand name is well known so they charge you for purchasing it by having the price just a little bit higher than what other companies would have the same system with the same features for.

As others have said, Alienware is the high-end Dell stuff. But I wouldn't go for it if I was you!
What are you getting with this laptop? 4GB memory, 500gb HDD, a core i5/7 processor, a low to mid-range GPU (like a nVideo gt240 or possibly just the onboard 1GB chip, or worse - Radeon), and some other add-ons? For about $800/1000?
Components are what make the computer, not how it looks.
You can probably get a custom build with a custom case and save money.
Unless the Alienware is available at a good price, around $600, then I'd say go for it.

Hi syoti20! In my opinion, Alienware laptops are best for gaming. It's hardware specifications is very best when it comes to gaming and its a very powerful laptop. But I think its the most expensive in its range. I will be worth the money. Happy mylotting!

If you have the resources and the money, then Alienware laptop would really be a good choice. With the specs of the laptop, performance, aesthetics and overall functionality, I would say that it is one of the best if not the best choice when it comes to choosing your laptop. I find it very pricey though. I've seen and read reviews about it and they seem really cool.

Alienware is now the high-end gaming machine division of Dell, so it at least has the backing of a well-established manufacturer. You should never buy something for its looks alone. You should already know what you want to use it for and should choose a machine that suits your purposes.

If you have the money then why not as long as what makes you happy. In practicalities point of view I do not see you need to spend that much money which other good branded computer products can provide. Just use the i7 gear and boost your video card as well as RAM to the highest gigabyte buy a kick *ss LCD HD wide screen monitor and face melting Alteclancing speakers then game on.
