I was very disappointed when I saw Shoaib Akhter is not in the playing team which is going to play Semi Final.
But the way wahab Riaz bowled today was marvellous he sent 5 Indian batsman back to the pavilion. Some one wrote topic regarding born of new Star in this semi Final I think Wahab Riaz is a strong contender for this title after his performance.

Wahab Riaz has shown very consistent performance in this worldcup. He has always taken wickets in every match of Pakistan in this world cup. Three wickets against most of the teams. Today, he did great work by taking five wickets of Indian Team.
Great performance. Yes he has capabilities. The way he bolded Yuvraj was fantastic. Everybody was shocked and stunned. What a ball. God bless him...

yeah I totally agree with you and thanks for mentioning yuvi wicket I was covering the even in Blue Area Islamabad where thousands of people are gathered to watch the match. I am sharing some photos of that coverage at mylot too and rest will be on my personnel site. :D cheers

Yuvraj's wicket was just like a heart attack, sudden and fatal. Please tell me something about the Blue Area. I did not get it. Is it a place name in Islamabad. Please also share some pictures here in this discussion.

Wahab Riaz was fantastic in today's match. He justified Afridi's decision not to replace him with Shoaib Akhtar. This is the second time I have seen him bowl really well, the last time was when I saw him against England. He does look a bowler for Pakistan's future. Unfortunately for him Umar Gul had a real poor day, else Pakistan could have very much been on top of this game.

Well Umer gul was off today but he is a good bowler. Wahab Riaz was bowler of the day for Pakistan.

Yes isloooboy Pakistan has produced yet another star in fast bowling department. He has proved himself to be a new star in world cricket. Anybody performing in such an high tension game as India Pakistan and that too world cup semi final must have nerves of steel. We can therefore safely say that a new star has born for Pakistan. Pakistan is like a factory producing fast bowlers. No where in the world the fast bowlers are produced at this rate. It was in the interest of Pakistan that Shoaib was not included in the team as rightly pointed out by Rameez Raja. He would have given much more runs than what Wahab has given.

He bowled beautifully, if he wasn't there, the situation of pakistan might be more worse. he will have future in Pakistan cricket.
