Many people say, that violent video games are bad for people because of it's influence to them. But after doing my research in these violent video game related crimes. I found out that violent video games are not the cause of these. And in fact the worst that violent video games could do is having the player imitate the lines in the games and consume a lot of time. Two big video game related crimes that I found out about were both schoolyard gun rampages. Both rampages were caused by teenage boys who were fans of violent video games. Of course, the media blamed video games for their rampage and the media ignored the fact that these boys were bullied. And when people are bullied the the point of breaking... They really would fight back. Then the other case I found was a man busy playing video games got bothered by his girlfriend or wife. He got mad and started stabbing her. Again... Media blamed video games and ignored the fact that the man could be having anger issues. I'm not saying that violent video games are good, but I'm just saying. People should not blame these things unless proven. Your thoughts?

I think video games may encourage violence but not to the extreme that the media portrays I'm a fan of violent video games but I don't go out killing/fighting anyone I meet. I think violence is installed in our nature at times and the games may just bring this to the forefront . Think about it though if you go further into our past you'll find that our ancestors where quite violent and enjoyed violence maybe this is something a lot of human beings possess as a bad trait . Just a point worth pondering I think and I think it's our societies highly built up moral system which stops some from committing violent acts .

Yeah the environment will certainly have an effect but also the will of each person can ultimately choose their own fate . Everyone still has the choice of free will so whilst the environment can increase the chances of aggression it is simply up to each person to either embrace the violence or not .

I think it is ridiculous the amount of blame violent video games get for causing violence.these games may give these people some inspiration but the violent offenders usually have other mental problems and this inspiration could come from other sources such books and films.

True, in fact, violent video games are mostly inspired from real life violence.
