Food for our souls

hi, how are you? This afternoon i saw your discussion, this following message is my own view. frankly speaking, i don't think so. as a man, cooking is not important to get a woman's heart, by contrary, as a woman, maybe cooking is important to get a man's heart. For a woman i think that sense of security is the most important, who need your concern and protect, not cook. of course, if you can cook, that is better, please pay attention to more care and concern, because woman is more sentimetal.

I think that a man who knows how to cook is very sexy. Unfortunately we are in an era where people don't know who to cook, especially females which is a damn shame but it's true. And yes there are many females who are slim but it doesn't mean that they starve themselves. i am very slim and i love me some food! But my family members are very slender, it's in our genes. Don't think cause a chick is skinny it's because she's starving herself or doesn't enjoy eating. Yes there are some out there like that but there are plenty of others that aren't. The fact that you can cook will melt any girls heart, at least a girl that is worth cooking for! Kuddos to you and your cooking skills!! ;0)

Hi. Madmax73. This is an era where women are conscious about their weight. So it is best that you cook meals that are lower into calories and fat. Ask her what she likes best and then go from here. Make it special for her and as a surprise. Take care.

Hi Madmax. Well it looks very nice gesture and since it is everywhere in romantic novels and movies and on tv shows , so it looks nice but if a guy doesnt know much cooking then i think woman is not going to be pleased. I remembered an uncle of mine tried to cook breakfast in bed for his wife on her birthday and when she had her break fast and went to kitchen she was horried how dirty the kitchen was. So instead of being happy she has to clean it for more than one hour and there were sparks between them. So it is better to have some other romantic ideas. This way you dont have to count calories too .

i think it worked for me..haha... he did get into my heart... and until now he still cooks for me. well i guess it really depends on what type of girl you are going after... i'm a food lover and so is my partner, so it's a good thing that we share this common passion for food... we not obese or anywhere close to becoming one, we eat in moderation - small frequent meals actually - a combination of healthy dishes and junk foods (yeah, when i say healthy i mean veggies and all that with little fats and salt)...well we're all about enjoying food, that's it. bottom line is, when it comes to food, it'd be really good to have someone compatible with your views and feelings on it.

It is good to hear that you can cook, my husband is a great cook and I say Wow to any guy who is willing to cook for his lady. There are many foods that you can prepare that will not put the pounds on your girl's hips. I am not sure the cooking in the kitchen is what will win a girl's heartbut it surely can't hurt.
