I have dreamed many years of visiting Australia. Australia is down under so it would be wicer to be there for a longer tim to see the whole country. In the past few weeks I've found out about Work and Travel Australia. It means that you can work in diffrent places in Australia: coffee shops, pick up fruits and so on, while you are travelling in the country. Has anyone of you been in Australia? Do you have any places you prefer? Have you worked in the country, was it good paid? Been fruit picking? I would like to hear your thoughts and experiences from Australia. :)

When I was 20 years old I got a working holiday visa for Australia and went there as part of my trip around the world. I was allowed to work for up to 3 months for each different employer. I worked as a children's nanny, as a charity collector and as a factory worker. I did a couple of days of fruit packing and it was not the sort of work I enjoyed. They had the females in the packing sheds and the males picking fruit on the field. I loved working in Sydney most of all. The jobs were all paid very well. Fruit picking and fruit packing is very hard work and the long hours are tiring. Australia is a very beautiful and it is lovely to spend many months there. I went on my travels to New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria, Queensland and the Northern Territory. When I was 28 years old I got a tourist visa and traveled to Western Australia. I love Australia. I hope that you will go to Australia and have an amazing time.

I would also like to welcome you down under, where do you live now? I am an Australian Citizen and think the country has so much to offer and the rights and beliefs of people from across the globe are mostly welcomed here with open arms. Australians have a very friendly nature and there is endless job opportunities and cheap accomodation for back packers tourists who need to work while on their holidays to support themselves. You should find out about obtaining a working VISA in your country and explore your options before you get here so you know where you are going. I would suggest visiting the great barrier reef and western Australia beaches are breath taking. enjoy your travels where ever you end up. Remember life is what you make it.
