Has everyone seen the new movie to release in theaters on Friday named Hop? I think it looks awesome. Reminds me of Easter and I am so glad they come out with a new movie pertaining to spring, and Easter. The colors look bright and welcoming. Easter has always been my favorite holiday in both senses. Bibical and Easter Bunny. But this movie just looks light hearted and a whole round family movie to see. I will probably wait til after Easter to see it cause of families taking the kids and crowds but I plan on seeing it. Anyone else going to view "Hop?"

My kids want to see it, but I have a question--does it give away the "truth" about the Easter bunny? If anyone knows, please let me know. My kids are wavering in their belief, and I want them to keep believing for one more year!

No I don't think it does take away the fun of the Easter bunny. I think they just made it a lighthearted Easter movie fun for the whole family. But if you want go to yahoo look in the movie section and you can watch the trailers on it to give you a better idea if you want to take them or not. I am taking my little granddaughter hopefully Tuesday or the following tuesday. She is kind of young yet but I think she would love the bright colors on the big screen. But just want to see her reaction so I plan on having fun with her and going. She is not quite two yet.

This movie seems to be watchable. I can't say too much about the trailer, but I find it intresthing with the easter theme. Can't wait to see it, hopefully it will be good! Do you know when its coming to theaters or is it already? And yes, I'm in the same line with you and must say easter is a very nice holiday and also my favorite, after christmas of course!

I am hoping to take my kids to see it before Easter but I'm not sure if I will be able to or not. I havent even seen any previews for it but I did see people had written on facebook that they were going to see it. Since it just came out and its around Easter time I assumed it was an Easter movie.

Yes it is an easter movie type. The chicks remind you of the yellow peeps that used to be in our easter baskets and of course there is always a chocolate easter bunny. I am hoping to take my baby granddaughter next week to see it while a little young, she still might like all the bright colors LOL Let me know how you liked it. I am sure it will be on after easter. It grossed 35 million the first weekend! Amazing what one movie can make!

This movie was actually really cute. There were very few parts of it that I didnt like. I took both of my kids to see it this past weekend and they loved it as well. There were a few parts that had me laughing out loud. For a time it even got me wanting a pet rabbit until I came to my senses lol.

Thanks for sharing. yes a rabbit is a huge responsibility. Most people do not know how to care for them properly and wind up turning them loose. I had a man down the street that bred rabbits and when he had to many litters he just turned them out There were so many complaints that they were litterally digging up roots of grass and leaving deep holes in the yards he got reported to the city BIG fine...5,000.00 I got in with some pet stores and actually made some money off of breeding rabbits. But I got my city and state license my bunnies were checked out, and the most fun of learning about bunnies...the mother only feeds them once a day. you can then have the babies from birth the rest of the 23 hours. My bunnies were so tame instead of running from you like most do in the cages they came up to people in pet stores becasue they were not afraid of humans. they got held every day from the day they were born. I am taking my granddaughter Tuesday to see Hop My daughter finally made it here and thats our plans for Tuesday thanks for the review!

I went to see it and it was really cute! I love movies like this because they are appropriate for children, yet adults can find humor in them too. Like, the bunny goes to the Playboy Mansion and is talking about "bunnies". Kids have no idea what is going on but the adults sure do. But it was nice to actually have a movie made about Easter!
