I found two baby cats, next to my house. both baby cat, it is very cold. I took both cats baby, and take care. I intend to give my child's milk, to both the baby cat. But my neighbors forbid, because then both baby cat was suffering from diarrhea and eventually die. My neighbor suggested to give baby milk, for both the baby cat. But I do not have the money to buy baby milk. Finally, I still give both baby cat, with my child's milk. What have I done right? Or you have another opinion?

I am not an expert with cats at all, but somehow I find that your child's milk will be fine. I am assuming you will know if it did not agree with their tummy if they get a bit loose stool.
I check the internet and they say it is not a good idea. They say that regular milk alone is not enough because it does not provide the nutrients they need.

I love cats they are litlle cute things to have them in them in your home. Righ now my son's cat has three little kittens and he loves them. Please take care of them and if you do not have space for them, let some kind people get them.

Depends on how old they are. Under a certain age, doesn't matter what you do, there's a chance they will die anyway. Cow's milk isn't the best for them, but it's better than nothing (or did you mean formula?). If they are old enough to walk, they are old enough to eat some soft food...

well, if you don't have any money to give it milk, maybe you can give it some bone of fish after you eat it. mix it with some rice. it is more cheaper to do that way. i used to give that way when i have a lot of cats in my house.
i can't afford to give them milk so i after i eat fish or some chicken, i take all the bone and mix it with rice. they love it..

I think the reason that regular milk is bad for baby cats is because they don't have the enzyme needed to digest it properly.
Do you know how old they are? Because if they are old enough to eat a little solid food, that could help.
I'm not sure if feeding them anything other than water is a good idea if they have diarrhea, because it might just dehydrate them more.

if the picture is of the kittens you found, then, while cows milk isn't the BEST thing for them, it is also not the worst thing (worst would've been to leave them.)
Have you tried mixing some milk and soft food, they look like they may be old enough to handle soft or softened food.
Oliver, who was only a week old when I got him, needed special "kitten milk" but when he was about 4 weeks old we started on soft, canned food.

Special milk for kittens can be purchased at a pet store, but that takes money. The kittens should be examined by a veterinarian, but that takes money, too. The milk you give your baby might be too rich for the kittens. If the kittens already had diarrhea when you got them, your neighbor was probably right that they were sick and may die. I love cats, but several things about this scenario makes me uncomfortable. Whatever you, keep them away from your children.

I appreciate how kind you have been towards these kittens and I hope you can save them. I do agree that cow’s milk can give some cats diarrhoea but if that is all you had you did not have much of a choice. I would keep an eye on the kittens and pray they will be okay. You should be proud of your kindness.

hello indahfth,
Usually when my son bought home a stay baby cat,i gave milk (my kids milk)
And,it never gives trouble with the baby cat/s.
I also gave the baby cat some solid foods and also did not harm the baby cat.
Now my daughter is eying a stray baby cat,she wants to have that baby cat that she found in our backyard.
But the baby cat is too fast to run once my daughter wants to have it.
Maybe my daughter will have it today
have a good day

It can be hard to resist a new born kitten. they are so cute and cuddly and adorable. They can't fend for themselves so they need the attention and someone to love them. You show how much you care when you are sharing your milk, but the cat would probably have survived on another means of nutrition.

Cats are a powerful animal. I think that, given any milk, no nothing.

Just give regular cow milk, its good. I was raised at the country. My grandparents always gave cow milk to kitten and they grew healthy. The cat milk is better for them because it has their need for immune system. But if you can not hgt a cat to adopt them give them cow milk.

My granddaughter and I found some kittens stuck in our fence. She had heard them crying. We took them in, warmed some milk and fed them. All night I woke up to feed those kittens. The next morning we took them to the humane society and handed them over. No other options. They will want plenty of milk.

What you are doing is correct. I admire your kindness. But you can't continue this. Your baby is most important for you. Speak this matter with your neighbors and friends. they may help you. I hope cow milk may also go with.

You have a kind heart my friend to having taking good care of those kittens. I love cats and I still remember how excited I was when one of our cats gave birth to 5 kittens or so. I loved the kittens and began giving them names. Anyway, we used to give them some milk as well. Any milk will do I think. I am not a vet or anything but as long as you keep them fed then they will be okay. Best of luck to you indahfth!
