I think that this is only an eating habit.
If I like food, I'll eat slowly to enjoy them. If I don't like food or the food is bad, I'll eat quickly.
However, I'll eat all food though they're delicious or not.
How about you?

I usually eat the good food pretty fast especially side dishes when you eat out with your friends because side dishes are usually open to everyone. The table is a battlefield full of hungry wolves.
However, if it tastes really bad or if I really hate it, I just leave it right there and make a face saying "Okay, this one is really bad. NEVER ORDER IT AGAIN!" because if I can't eat it, most people in my group won't be able to eat it as well.

You're difference me
But I think that if food are good, you should slowly. You could eat much. If you eat quick, you can't eat the disk you love.

Whwen I was little my parents made me eat all that I had in my plate. I followed the same example and it is one of the things I´m sorry for, as child rearing goes. I try to make food appealing, nice smelling and nice tasting. I don´t eat anything I don´t like. I eat quickly when I´m alone, so many times I make a good sandwich and a cup of coffee. But when I have visitors, things change and I try to make awesome meals.

Eating slowly is good for health. That's true.
You know, the food is sometimes not delicious but we still must eat them. Example at parties etc... I usually eat for form's sake.
