My country

i personally do not know much about Romania. I have heard that the government is corrupt. A majority are in some form or another. It is always about their own pockets first the people second. I think the people have to stand together and fight for their rights to have a prosperous and happy life of opportunity. For me I think of Romania as a beautiful country that I hope to get a chance to see before I leave this world. I think I have always had a sort of Romanticized vision of wise and mysterious gypsies.

ya for sure plenty of the resources are being utilised for tourism and if this continues at a rapid pace and i always think romania is a country with good tourism rate and with more no of places to visit and its developing well and if its well maintained all the resources can be sustained.

I not know about Romania but I think every country is good only our eyes may change for other country or for our own country.

As a kid and teenager I always visited Romania. I haven't been there since years and hope I will this summer. It's hard for me to say anything about your country at this moment since I haven't been there for long. Even though I have a house in Hungary close to the boarder. I never understood why, from one moment to an other, there is hardly any tourism anymore. There are no touroperators (from Holland) going over there anymore even not for a city trip. At this moment I think all leaders in Europe are destroying the European countries. There is nothing we, the people, can do about it. It's not how a democracy should be or function. I think it will mean we all have to find our own personal way to survive from now one.. it's survival of the fittest.

Hello Florin. First of all for all people out there to be clear on this aspect: Romanians are not mainly GYPSY people. Having that said, the sad thing is that many BUT not all of the Romanians abroad bring a bad name, or rather said, the media is not interested in publishing Romanian successful stories in other countries. The bad thing for this is that countries tend to add more restrictions for us when the case is not needed. Romania is a rich and yet has unspoiled nature in it, like the virgin forests, more then half then what's left in Europe. We also have half the total population of brown bear, but also black goat, lynx, foxes and wolves in our forests. We have many problems here, it is a developing country, mentalities HAVE to CHANGE in order for us to truly advance.
