A hands free soap dispenser?

Really? what is the point in having a hands free soap dispenser? I saw an ad about one and thought it was just another piece of junk that will sit in your bathroom and never be used or useful. I mean they advertise that the push top soap dispensers tops are covered in germs, but after washing your hands wouldn't that just get rid of the germs you picked up from the top of the soap dispenser? Just my thoughts

Well you do make a point, though either way you're going to get germs back because you have to touch the faucet to turn it on so you can start washing your hands. Well at the same time they do have those types of faucets that are motion sensored. It's just another way to stay healthier, some people will use it, some people won't, but they're marketing is pretty good I must say.

Yeah, they just want your money. That is really the bottom line. I think that they figure that there is a group of people who have not really figured out that you should really clean off the top of those things every now and again. Then again, you'd really be surprised with how many people really looking at those things. Not that many people think that they should actually clean the top of the soap dispenser. Yet it is an extremely important thing keeping your bathroom germ free. Also the knobs on the faucet as well. Many people tend to overlook the rather obvious. Sure you could cover your hands when turning it back off, but the moment you touch something else, there is still going to be germs back on anyway. In fact, there are germs on the towel everywhere. There are germs everywhere, floating in the air. You can't escape them, all you can do is wash the majority of them off but unless you live in a bubble, they'll always be there.
