Dear myLotters,
Model Poonam Pandey has declared that she will become nude in front of full stadium crowd if Indian Team wins the World Cup tomorrow against Sri Lanka.
She is saying that she is doing this just to MOTIVATE the Indian Team!
Do you think that it is motivation?
In the past, Luciana Salazar of Argentina had also done the same thing and vowed to become nude if Argentina wins FIFA World Cup.
Somehow I am unable to believe that this is motivation, what do you think?
World class players can be motivated to play better or perform best via these kinds of motivational ideas? I an in doubt --- Please enlighten me...

No I think no motivation is required to India Players because they know how to play and win the match. They all are well matured player and due to motivation they will play good it not.

Ya some time motivation is required actual encouragement is required for small child if they are playing a game.
But I think in big and for good player no motivation is required.

You are right motivation has created many great things. People get motivated and do great things.
A child when motivated properly can become a very useful citizen.
Actually, I was asking, will this kind of motivation can bring any change in result of the game?
In any game like football or cricket, does player get motivated by this type of announcements from models?

Hello Ms. Rathi,
How are you doing?
I agree with you, Indian team do not need any motivation like this. They are self-motivated at the present time. I am sure they will win worldcup with our wishes alone.
But do you think that any team, in any type of game can be motivated like this?

Well I don't think this is motivation, but I think that it is the perfect way to get a lot of attention from all Indian people and the rest of the world.
I also think that this kind of "motivation" could decentralize the players, not Indian, but both teams.

As she isn't much popular, I'd say she's doing this to get more attention, because that is the perfect way to get the cameras on you.

At first I also thought that she is doing this for publicity only. I am unable to understand how they will get motivated by this move of her. She is not that much popular that they will get motivated. People do not know her. I don't know how she will motivate in this way.

hi nishant5n,
its a big challenge for both the indian team and to herself.
i guess conservative people will raise their eyebrows as this will be some public display immoral as they would judge. it will be some bad example for the other girls to follow and a downgrading of the indian ladies. yes, i feel bad about it.
i guess we both have the same mindset on this one. this is not a motivation.

hi,
i guess that is what is wrong with wanting to be popular. some are just wanting it too fast, and would not mind getting negative impressions and they lose their pride.

This is not a motivation this is just making our great culture into dirty one in front of whole of world this is just pathetic. I know why she is doing this only for getting publicity and get the chance in the movies as many actress do.We should ignore this types of thing. Do something else which involves patriotism and which will be more motivate one then doing this nuisance things..

No way. I dont think that it is to motivate.. surely it is to disturb. If you are a good supporter of Indian team.... there are some nice ways to motivate players. I am damn sure that she will not do that whatever she said if she is not crazy or perverted. In indian society, nobody will admit that and she will be punished for it if she acts like that. Anyway, i dont know who is Poonam Pandey and have no interest to get informed. take care.

Even if not to disturb at least for publicity, I think. You are right that this is not a good way of supporting Indian team. This is just a way to get her name in the news. She trying to make her air I think.
I like the way you said you don't know her and now more wants to know her. This type of attitude is enough to set her down. She has some other intentions then India's victory.

It's kind of ridiculous.
I think it is merely a method by which she could gain more reputation.
Then people will concentrate their attention on her. Consequently, some business companies will get connection with her because of her well-known image and give her some opportunities to do some business.
It is a win-win situation for both of them.
I do not agree with this crazy activity.
