whats with the weather?

well i live in Maine and for that past few days its been nothing but snow. Here i thought that it was spring already, well i guess that i was wrong about that. so is there anyone else out there that has been getting winter weather insted of spring weather, if so what has it been like for you? I'm not a big fan of winter and hate it being so cold. i just wish that it would be summer already, but i guess that i have to wait. some times i wonder if global warming has any thing to do with the weird winter weather that some have been getting. whats your take on this? well i just want to thank those who took the time to response to this discussion.

I just talked to a friend from New York and he told me it snowed there yesterday. My friend from Ohio told me it snowed there too last Wednesday or Thursday. And I thought spring has already started. It
The weather nowadays is really so unpredictable. At this time in my country I should be experiencing the scorching heat of the sun, but what do I get? Nothing but clouds and rain. I have never worn a ling sleeve during summer in the Philippines but nowadays you can see me wearing it more often than sleeveless because it's a it cold. Im not sure if I'll ever experience summer this year.

I have to wonder if this phenomenon has anything to do with the earthquake in Japan. Since it was strong enough to shift the earth's axis, it could have shifted all of us a little farther north.
If that was the case, that would explain why instead of getting spring, we'd be continuing to get winter weather.
It's not so bad up here, we had a little light flurry activity the other night, wet snow yesterday morning.
We have flowers starting to sprout up in the garden, so that's a good sign that spring is arriving.
However, one never knows why these things happen, and we may never know.

Oh man I know you guys have had crazy winter and it hasnt' stopped yet. I live in MD so we kinda missed the crazy snow this year. I was hoping to get some snow but its all gone, STILL cold though. Spring is definitely taking its time. I'm very tired of this damn cold, I need to move to Miami or something :-). I hate winter but I like snow. I was hoping we would get something major but we completely missed out this year.
You guys on the other hand aren't getting any breaks. Even this time of the year still getting snow. Mother nature is definitely messing with us.

I have also so wondered if the weired cold snaps are apart of of the system of change too. The weather here to has been a bit off. it's spring and it's still cold.
I want to get out and mess with the plants but this weather , has to make you ask what it up with it
