Has anyone been to Cyprus? / myLot

I am going on a short holiday to Cyprus soon, and I have never been there before, and neither have most of my friends. So I was wondering: has anyone on MyLot been? If so, what do you recommend there? What shouldn't I miss? What might I as well miss? etc. Any advice will be greatly apprechiated!

Hi pucca, hope your trip will be marvelous. I have never been there. Waiting for your experience. Will visit both side of Cyprus?

Well, I have booked a trip to the south side (Greek side) but might visit the other side as well, I haven't really decided yet.

I have never been there myself but I hear it's a beautiful country. I'm afraid I can't recommend anything then... Just let me know how it was when you get back. :) I would love to hear all about it.
