Hi lotters
Yes, I am happy and a lot better today that yesterday. Guess what... Today was our State's Foundation day (Utkal Diwas). The offices were closed and my wife was at home.
In case you remember my post on what and how was I gifted the Valentine's Day. So it was my turn to celebrate the 1st of April - the day they say for Fools... And I am happy that I could enjoy the day(Maybe I am a fool and felt celebrating)
Ok, So this is what I did -
I did a hand made card (I was at this one for a few past days), collected a set of pics that I had taken from my lost Cell Phone before and a few days after our marriage. Oh yes, I copied a few lines from different poems and tried to make one for the card to give it more meaning and got it wrapped.
This morning I handed it to my beloved wife and it was really great to see the smile on her face. I promised I will not be online throughout the day and we did spend time talking, having a small fight over who does the lunch and what the menu is...But it has been a great day for me... and I am really happy.
She had thought I would play some prank on her and this was my honest prank (if you can say that).
It is true that Happiness comes from somewhere and you dont have to make great efforts...
Has anyone's smile really made your day sometime?
Cheers
theSids

That's great! I am glad to hear that you and your wife had a great day. I think spending moments like that together really strengthen the relationship. I know she must have been very flattered. Sometimes happiness doesn't take any effort at all.
I love spending time with my b/f and my children. I am working so much right now that I love every moment. We are going to spend the day together because I finally have a weekend off. They are asleep right now though..lol.

Hi JenInTN
Yes, going by the things I was into, I was feeling qute wretched and bad. But this small act did wonders really and I am happy that I am a happy person with so less and effort from my end.
I am happy for you that you are so occupied and still able to find the time (that many of us do not) for our loved ones... I look forward to spending more such moments with my wife and get back on the track of happiness...

Hi yugasini
We meet after a really long long time and I am happy on this one
The sense of humor was inspired by my wife as she tried to get me a bucket of water quite early in the morning on the Valentines Day and it was just because she and I could spend our morning time together. So I planned this day - as it was Utkal Diwas and her holiday - we could stay and enjoy the whole day together.

I truly have been concerned...as I feel a "funk" in your demeanor...and this wonderful thing you planned and executed for your wife, seems to have put a new lilt in your step...a brightness in your demeanor....of which I am so VERY happy! I think the planning & execution of this wonderful gift, gave you inspiration for days...and a beautiful present for your beloved wife! Way to go..thesids!

hello dear sids,
This day gives me so much reason to be happy (not because i become a fool or been a victim of "fools day" hehehe)
This morning my youngest son graduated from elementary grade .
He wakes up so early, bathe and then woke me and hi sister (can't wake up his brother who's snores like hippo ahihihi..just kidding)
He's excited and i feel proud of him.
Have a great weekend dear bhai

Why be sad about something like this one. I can see that he has grown into a person on the right track of life. For the hugs and kisses... yes, as we grow up we get away from those but I am sure the time he does that you would feel more happy than ever before...

Hi thesids
Yes I am smiling; you are making me smile right now with your discussion!
I am happy to hear that it is a bright and sunny day and you are feeling better today. As humans it is okay to fell a bit down from time to time, so as long as we know that tomorrow is always another opportunity for happiness.
How wonderful the gift to your lovely wife, and very thoughtful! Whichever is on the menu I am sure will be great because it will be made from the heart and with love.
I am stepping out for the morning but had to stop your discussion; I too will be smiling today. My boyfriend and I will be sharing some time together outdoors all morning here, and although not so sunny and bright over here today it sure will be fun.
So my dear friend both you and I will be smiling all day today!

Hi GF
This one is surely because of a few responses I got on Pg 2 of my last discussion and yes, more from the inspiration that your response gave.
I think the lines of your response on that discussion - (pasted from that one in cae you want to recall) -
So far thesids I awake the next day blessed again! Having said that my dear friend let us both continue to remember that positive energy is what continues to allow us to thrive and look forward to another blessed day.
The blessed day made the difference indeed

Wow a ray of suny shine, who hooo! I had a wonderful day! What was suppose to be half a morning turned out to be all day. Thesids, I want you to know that I thought about you today as I was out. I went the extra mile and accompanied my boyfriend to the theater where we volunteered to help with the set for the upcoming show. I can't begin to tell you both how much fun I had. We laughed so hard during the whole time and spent the whole day there.
I kept in mind what thesids did for his lovely wife so I decided to help my boyfriend out and the theater members as a way of giving back. Giving back because they were short handed and my contribution helped a lot. So you were right thesids it was a wonderful smiling day. So you and I were so blessed today!

Hi sunny5u
To me Moms are God and I think they have this unending habit of forgiving and forgetting the flaws of ours. They have their own ways and I am so happy to know that you did your role and brought smiles to your mom's face. I am sure you would treasure this for a long time

Hi Des_diva
Well, thanks that my small discussion could get you smiling. I believe most men love their wife the only thing - they are too much occupied with other stuf at hand (quite unlike me) and amidst that they forget to do such things... But hey, who knows, he has a different way of showing his love and affection to you all... maybe you can have a small discussion with him and find out
