hi friend. iam damm sure that india will surely win the match and repeat the history of 1983..this world cup team has ability to win the world cup and he will win tommorow and see how india will win the match.i pray that sachin tendulakar will complete his 100th. century in tommorow final match against sri lanka.

Hi, When India won the cup in 1083 it was underdog and coming from nowhere lifted the cup and made the history. But tomorrow things would be different. The image of India in 1083 and now is much much different. Hence pressure would be there. Besides in 1093 as the match was in England and the telecasting had gone on strike no such public pressure or much expectation was there. Now there are so many questions involved. The biggest one is winning the cup not just for the sake of winning but winning to honor a legendary player called Tendulkar. I know even if India lose Tendulkar would not be there for the next version of the cup. Hence with all might and sight India must win this world cup so that Tendulkar bears in his mind in his retired days that during his play days they had won Cricket World Cup.

The match is about to start within few hours i wish india all the best and i am sure that INDIA would be the winner and also we are going to see Sachin 100 century it would be a delight to watch if he make his century today hope we would be able to see of the them Hope to see a awesome match

yes, we will see the 1983 days. Because now india team is perfect and the great legend Tendulkar didnt recieve world cup as a player, he is playing since 1989 for Indian team. so because of him remaining players should play well to achieve this dream.......

Hi Dear Vengala! I still remember the World Cup Final Match which was telecasted on the TV! In fact that was the time when India was entering in the Telecasting, it was having teething problems then!Many people were not having TV sets at their places as they were just entering the market! I recall I was 23, and we contributed money and hired a Television Set which was black and white one and arranged a public viewing at the community Hall of our colony which was largely attended then! India was underdog in the Tournament! It was a big thing that India could enter semi finals! Now having entered finals, though every one was having doubts about winning the team, every one was expecting that some miracle can happen and with that hope every one gathered before the TV! The finals was against West Indies and India had first batting and scored 183 runs! With this score many people got disappointed! But then when the second half started things have turned i the favour of India and the History was wrtten, when underdogs turned out to be the World Champions.Kapil Dev Opened the Champagne bottle at Lords. Kapil in fact acted very matured way and he usedto take advice from Gavaskar from time to time as Gavaskar left the captainship then and the reigns were given to Kapil Dev to control! I still recall the night, when the country as a whole got united and there was a jubilant atmosphere all over the country.In all big and small cities, towns the market was wide open people have come out of their houses to wish each other and the patriotism was erupted all of a sudden in the people. Unplanned but systematic rallies by scooters , cycles, Cars was held into night, there was the slogan like - "Congratulations", "Mubaarak Ho!",Bharat Mata Ki Jai!" all in the air! Oh what a moment was that! Hope the history will repeat this time also today at Wankhede Stadium and the youngsters who missed the jubilant celebrations during 1983 will get an opportunity to witness such celebrations today! Let us all wish the Indian team Best of Luck and Pray the Almighty to bless the Indian Team with the required Courage, enthusiasm, zeal and energy to defeat the opponent team in today's World Cup Finals Tournament 2011 to be held at Wankhede Stadium , Mumbai!
