computer help prices

I am very novice in my computer ability but i am able to remove software correctly and add a free virus scan and remove that and just make computers a little more friendly for people who cant. I recently got a phone call from a friend of a friend of a relative and she wants me to update her computer with some software and run virus again and update adobe and a few other minor things that I am fully capable of doing. She wants to pay me but what should I expect in payment for doing updates for her. If she was family I would do it for nothing. I have worked on 4 family members computers and restored them to working order. Any suggestions?

I may have to accept the payment and dedicate the money for pet food. I was given the chance why not get the prize? At least I did not benefit from what's given to me, just my pets.

10 to 20 bucks should be good. Since he/she's your friend. 50$ is overpriced I think, since you're not messing with the hardware :P

HI , I suggest to format the pc , and install windows xp with the basic software , it can be easier and less cost from buying new pc, if you want the pc for advanced programms then I advice you to buy new one it wil be better than bay 50 bux for just repair.
