My daughter's cellphone malfunctioned, and so she had to buy a new one because it almost graduation time. There are the final copies of the thesis to be submitted, teachers to run after, signatures to be secured, and the whole lot that can only be seen in the final meters towards the finish line. So, we dashed to the cyberzone and stopped at a MyPhone booth. My daughter determined which phone might be more advantageous to her needs, and then settled for one that seemed usable whenever needed. To my daughter's surprise, the cellphone was not just attention getter because of the loudness, but it also prays every time it is oracion time. My daughter quipped, My cellphone is more prayerful than I am.

when the myheroes of myphone came out my wife bought one. she loves yellow, that was the first reason. when we are looking at the features she was happy to see that there are prayers. the mysteries of the rosary, the way of the cross, prayers for other people and a lot more. i guess this is very good partner for my wife she prays and prays even prays for people she does not know.

That's what I like about you, bird, you are totally obsessed with your wife. Not many men are particular about their wives' activities, but you, you even know she prays for people she doesn't know. Way to go, bid!

Don't be afraid, bird, she has many angels around her. Just tell the Blessed Mother to keep her safe always!

Hi! New friend here. I've your your discussion about Myphone. I've been thinking what to buy for a new phone. I guess Myphone will be one of my choices. It's affordable and useful. I like that prayer feature. And I think it also have the Rosary. Good thing to accompany us in praying.

This pos5t is from way back, when probably I had nil time checking notifications. I wish you are still on mylot. I came back last year and found myself enjoying the discussions and conversations here. Yes, it was a Myphone, if I recall right. But I do not know anymore where it is. Cellphones have short lives. The Rosary though is my daily life. The sweetest quarter of an hour of my day.

I use to have one and it is annoying because that prayer thing will wake you up in the middle of your sleep. I gave mine to a random homeless person.

My youngest daughter's phone is also a Myphone which my husband gave her last December as Christmas gift. It is a dual sim phone so she can use both her sim in one phone. And yes, every time it's angelus' time you will hear that its prayer. Well, that also reminds her to pray the angelus which she had learn in her Catholic elementary and high school where she studied.

That is one good thing that I like with the MyPhone, I only have to stop and I am in my prayers already.

Wow! What kind of phone would that be? What model is it by the way? That sounds cool though. I think that's one of the most unique features I've heard regarding a particular phone. If I would have one, I think my phone would be more prayerful than I am as well. But at least, since we sometimes use the phone as our alarm clock, then it could definitely be useful in terms of reminding us to pray once in a while. In addition to my earlier questions, I'd like to know how often does it pray?

So far, I heard the phone recite the Angelus, so that means 6 12 6 12 o'clock. At 3 pm, I heard the Divine Mercy prayer. And the phone was with my daughter upstairs...

It's true. Being a Philippine made phone and us viewed as christians, prayers (all kinds of prayers of Roman Catholics) are already equipped with it together with pinoy jokes, movies, national anthem, and all things pinoy. I forgot to turn off the prayers before I went to school before and there it goes praying in the middle of the class session. I was just glad that the volume was set low that only my seatmates heard it.

I tried it but it is totally impossible to switch it off. I don't like the prayers. It is a sign of intolerance. It should be possible to turn that off. What do they think, all Pinoys are Christian. There are also members of other religions in the country. This phone is a disgrace, especially when it starts praying in the middle of a meeting although i changed the profile to silence. I always try to support local products instead of buying imported stuff, but this shows that Pinoys still need to learn how to do real business. The inventor gave the phone a stupid additional and i believe it's not really competitive against other brands. I will not recommend this to other people, i rather buy a Samsung...

I don't understand what it means by "it also prays every time it is oracion time". The phone has a life on its own? Or it's an used phone which someone set any alarm in it, resulting in sounding whenever it's time for prayers? I don't see the link between a cellphone and prayers. Call me ignorant or whatever, but i just don't see the connection.

It's like an alarm clock, but instead of the ringing, it prays the Angelus of the Oracion.
