Anti-Drug Mule Act of 2011 (HB 4503)
It's still in the proposal stage. It's an act that will protect OFW's from drug trafficking and hunt down perpetrators, including government employees proved to be accomplices, of this crime.

A very positive step towards tackling the problem from its origin. The law if established would be a good starting point to stamp down this kind of illegal activities which exploits loopholes.
More affords have to be put into prosecuting those breaking the law and those corrupted officials.

Easier proposed than penned.
Reality check: Senator Sotto said he had been receiving e-mails from the interpol, informing us that our nationals had been threading dangerous waters for the longest time now.
Surely Representative Quimbo had already known all along about all these. Why just verbalize something now. He could have made inquisitions even before, especially that his fellow congressman Singson, ex cong now, had been caught in hot waters...
But let's see how he writes the law. He is the proponent, right?

I doubt the new bill, when passed, will make the condition of our fellows better. We have too many laws. what we need is strict and proper implementation, and production of more good earning jobs
